Mr Smith sat at the computer the next day absolutely exhausted. Unable to sleep made him feel rather sick. A mug of coffee sat before him, steam drifting up into his face, warming him. He had a throbbing headache. His tummy felt tight, he didn't feel good. The clock ticking on the wall caught his attention and he looked up -eyes red and tired- realising his class would start soon. About to stand, a knock came from the door which caught Mr Smith off guard.
"Sir? I uh, I have a question about the homework you set. Can I ask about it?" It was Robyn. Mr Smith sat back down, letting out a sharp breathe and nodded. "Sit down, the bell will ring soon anyway."

Robyn dumped her stuff into the table and she emptied her bag until she found her maths book and pencil case. Grabbing both, she walked over to the front desk and pulled the sheet out from her book. Mr Smith rammed his eyes shut in pain and placed his hand over his tummy and leant over a little. Robyn, noticing, gave a worried glance at him.
"Are you okay?" He grew slightly pale and just nodded.
"I hardly got sleep."
"Can I ask why?" Sir opened his eyes.
"My brother was round with his girlfriend and they were doing stuff. Then my cat was being loud. Then I felt a little sick. I-I'm fine." Robyn shook her head a little. She knew he wasn't well and shouldn't be here.
"I don't think you should be here. You look very tired." Mr Smith covered his face with his free hand and groaned. He didn't want to admit to the year 7 that this was the case.
"I just- I don't want to go home."

Robyn looked at the door as the bell rung down the corridor. He turned back to face Mr Smith when an idea popped into her head.
"Go to reception, first aid have a bed. Maybe you can sleep there for a while until you feel better. Get an unoccupied maths teacher to teach class until you feel better!" Mr Smith looked up. A small bit of hope in his eyes. He rose from his head, still holding his tummy, and walked to the door. Robyn by his side to make sure he got there safely.

The two arrived but no one was there. Robyn walked in and opened the first aid room door and sure enough the bed was free. She gestured for sir to come in and he followed suit.
"Do you want some water sir?" She asked as sir climbed onto the bed and rested his sore eyes.
"Y-Yes please..."
Robyn moved herself to some shelves and rummaged around. Sure enough she found a clean glass and filled it with water for him. She handed it to him and he drank it down quickly. Suddenly feeling much better, he lay back down and closed his eyes.
"Thank you Robyn..."
