Mr Smith ducked around the corner as Robyn moved past. Robyn pretended not to notice at first, keeping her head held high, but it was starting to get to her. He was avoiding her, and everyone was beginning to notice the way he barely came into school and never taught Robyn's class anymore. Robyn was getting annoyed with his behavior.
When lunch swung around, Robyn neglected eating to scare Mr Smith in his office, which had only one way in, one way out. She knocked on the door, and Mr Smith yelled to come in. She swung the door open, pushing her back against it. Mr Smith looked shocked and stood up, realizing she was blocking his only exit.
"I-"
"Cut it. Why are you avoiding me? It's not exactly professional, is it?"
"But I-"
"I need to eat. Come on,"
She didn't want to push, but if she didn't she wouldn't get any lunch because it's take too long to get through the line.Mr Smith have in and sunk into his chair. He looked at Robyn who looked mad. He coughed before standing and walking over.
"I don't want to get fired- I hugged you. I'm not allowed to do that. You're a student. If someone found out I could get in serious trouble..." he looked through the door window and sighed. Robyn looked at her shoes, eyes wide. It made sense. She didn't want him to loose him job either. He wasn't afraid of her, he was afraid of what consequences.
"But why did you stop teaching our class? We've had cover after cover and it's bad!" Sighing again, Mr Smith responded calmly,
"I will be back. I just didn't want to get into trouble...I'm very sorry."
"It's fine, sir. It's just rather rude to dodge and hide from someone."
And with that, Robyn left the room, leaving sir to stare at the closed door. He rested his elbow on his desk, placing his chin in his palm.
"I'm sorry,"
