Mr Smith stumbled up the stairs, sniffing a tiny bit. He was fine. He hadn't got a cold. The headache and the shaking were because of the weather. Yeah. The weather. His class were all coughing (gross, cover your damn mouth, please) and he sat at his desk, handing out the end of topic math tests.
"You guys, you know what you need to do,"Robyn had a headache, and was trying her best to hold back tears because she's a very emotionally misunderstood person. Mr Smith nearly choked on a cough while trying to explain something later in the lesson, and so let the cough come, drinking some water and grimacing at his headache.
When the bell went, Robyn stayed behind.
"Sir, are you okay? You look tired,"
Mr Smith nodded.
"I'm f-fine,"
"You sure? Has William been scratching up your window again?"
"No... William was fine,"
"Talk to me," Robyn grabbed a chair, sitting on it backwards and looking calmly at Scott.
"I just keep having headaches and coughing and I hate it -" he said.
"Sounds like you've got a cold,"
"Nope. I ha-haven't got a cold, I'm fine," Robyn laughed.
"Yeah right. Go to your office and sleep, Sir. Seriously, I'll come and find you later and if you haven't you'll be feeling really gross. trust me, I've done this before,"
"O-okay," Scott stood, leaving the room and heading to his office. Robyn laughed quietly, knowing he hadn't any more lessons, but had to stay in school for the next period, supposedly to mark books and whatever. At lunch Robyn decided to check to see if Scott was okay- she knocked on his office door, and when she didn't get an answer, gently pushed it open. Scott was asleep at his desk, light snores filling the room. There was a tap on Robyn's shoulder and she turned around. Mr Tracy was there.
"Is Mr Smith alright?"
"Sleeping." He nodded and peeked in, melting when he saw him.
"Good." And with that, he left. Robyn watched on, slightly confused but brushed it off.Scott awoke later, feeling refreshed. The sun was fully up and everyone was out at lunch. He arose from the bed and walked to the team room where the other teachers where. He entered calmly.
"Scott we got worried! How are you feeling?"
"A lot better thank you." He sat and looked at his time table. He didn't teach for the rest of the day.
"I may go to upper to grab something."
"Alright, stay safe Scott!"
