Long time no see.

Mr Smith looked at his emails with slight disappointment. Nothing interesting coming up. Something caught his eye though, someone for that matter. They walked past the window in a pyromaniac suit, mask in hand. It was Pyro. He didn't want to yell, but he hadn't seen her in ages. She's sort of vanished. Pyro felt eyes on her and checked the window to see Mr Smith. She smiled then slid the window sideways to open it and poked her head in.
"Long time no see Pyro,"
"Likewise Mr Smith!"
"You heading off for an experiment in the roof again?" He joked, remembering how they met. Pyro smirked and looked at her boots before responding sheepishly,
"Not today actually. There's nothing new to test. I'm kind of just here and there. Dotted around the school. You teaching much today?" Sir shook his head and made his way to the window.
"Not teaching the first two periods, or last period too. I have a rather quiet day." Mr Smith seemed cheerful about this, managing to relax on Thursdays was nice. Pyro nodded, looking down still.
"You alright?"

Pyro looked up at him. She nodded and leant off the windowsill. She fiddled with her gloves before removing them. Multiple burns where there that made sirs eyes widen.
"W-what's this? Does your work cause this much damage?" She stared at him, taken aback by this comment.
"Yes, but I'm fine with it. Sometimes the gloves don't work, y'know. Like oven gloves that grow thin after being used for so long." Mr Smith nodded.
"Yeah, I get that." He noticed sweat forming on her forehead and realised just how warm it was this morning.
"You look rather hot, you have clothes under that suit right? So you can take it off and cool off," Pyro nodded, but didn't like the thought.
"I look gross without the suit. So I wear it all of the time."
"Well at least come inside where it's cooler, take off a layer maybe in the bathrooms." Mr Smith suggested and stepped into the centre of the classroom. Pyro pondered before climbing into the window, taking sir by surprise as he expected her to use the main door.

The room was silent apart from some music Mr Smith was playing from the computer. Pyro's gloves and mask lay on a desk as she has gone to take off the suit and put on sensible clothes that weren't sweaty. Mr Smith was trying to find the correct powerpoint as Pyro returned. She still had he chunky boots which were covered in ash and had been singed here and there. A rather loose men's tank top over her with some knee length men's shorts. The tank top was made by her, with a rather sexual picture of Rosalina, from Mario Galaxy, that she had printed on. Sir looked at it and gave a disgusted face. Pyro chuckled.
"She's hot come on,"
"Whatever you say Pyro. Hey- what is your actual name of you don't mind me asking?" Pyro sighed, sitting on the desk near Sir and swung her legs back and forth.
"I changed it. Now it's Fritz. I'm thinking on changing it to Ross later in life though." Sir looked at her. Fritz.
"It's nice. Fritz. I haven't heard it before. And Ross is also cool."
"Thank you, Mr Smith."

"Sooooo....how did you sleep last night?" Pyro asked. She was told by Robyn that he looked tired quite a lot and she began to be concerned for him.
"William keeps me up. The road outside is mostly silent apart from that one car passing now and then," Pyro nodded. "But it's mainly William that keeps me up."
"Want to know something funny?" Mr Smith nodded, turning to face Pyro who had a large grin across her face.
"I accidentally set fire to my favourite pen-" she burst out laughing which didn't amuse sir in the slightest.
"That's really dangerous! Oh...that's sort of your job, isn't it.."
"Kinda! I didn't mean to set fire to it, i was trying to warm up the ink so it would reach the pen nib but it just melted the plastic and soon caught fire."
"Jesus Christ Fritz," he couldn't help but laugh a little.

"That's the bell to lunch. Sir can we go yet?" Alex asked, a rather annoying student. Sir sighed before checking the desks for loose bits of paper and sheets. Nothing was lying around so he dismissed the class, but not without reminding them of the homework in for Monday's lesson.
He grabbed his pencil case and rammed it into his rucksack. Making his way to the team room, someone caught his eyes again. Fritz stood there, leaning against the wall looking rather guilty and staring at her phone.
"You shouldn't be on your phone,"
"I'm an upper school student. So I can." She said and put it in her pocket and walked over. He sighed and continued his walk to the team rooms
"Lesson alright sir?"
"Yeah, just the year 8s being a little difficult." He opened the door.

Miss Penneth watched him walk in, Pyro behind him. She recognised Pyro from when she walked around the grounds of the school with Robyn or Mr Laurent but she'd never spoken to her.
"Hi Florence." Mr Smith said cheerfully at the woman.
"Hello Scott, and..."
"Pyro, or Fritz."
"So you are the pyromaniac from science! I've seen your little fire shows from my classroom window sometimes. They're very well done." She said to Fritz who smiled, cheeks a little pink.
"Thank you miss,"

"Why'd you want to talk to me sir?" Fritz asked as the last period of the day came to a close and they started to pack up. Mr Smith looked up from his bag to Fritz who held her suit in her arms tightly.
"I hadn't seen you in a while. I wanted to know how you were as you're usually with Robyn."
Fritz nodded then looked down at her scuffed boots. She couldn't stop the small smile slithering onto her face. She took a step forward but thought of a better exit.
SHUFF
The window slid open and Mr Smith looked over to see Fritz clambering out.
"H-hey!" he called over to her before she completely fell out.
"See you tomorrow Scott!" Fritz waved and skipped over to science to retrieve her belonging before going home.

Sir watched on, bag slung over his shoulder. How could someone as nice as Robyn befriend someone as wacky as Fritz. It puzzled him as he left to his car and got inside. Turning on his favourite cd, he reversed out of the teacher car park and headed off home. Hopefully William would let him sleep tonight peacefully.
