Broken

Chapter 8

"Gabrielle?", a concerned voice filled the silence.

She looks up imediately, whiping away her tears. The voice belonged to Vincent.

"Vince what are you doing here?", she asks confused.

He walks up to her and sits on the bench next to her.

"I know this may sound silly, but I couldn't sleep at all and all I could think about was... um you", he looks at the ground."So I walked to your house and I saw your light on and I climbed the tree next to your window but you weren't there. I tried to look around the house but didn't see you and I tried calling you but it didn't went through, so I figured you'd be here".

Gabrielle softly smiled at him, what would she do without him.

"I'm glad your here, even though you almost gaved me a heart attack", both of them chuckled.

There was silence for a moment.

Gabrielle looks at Vincent and her heart skipped a beat. Something she still couldn't understand why it's happening.

"Vince?", she says softly.

"Yes?, he looks at her.

"Could you hold me?".

Without hesitation he pulls her close to him and wraps his arms around her.

Tears started falling from Gabrielle's brown eyes. She tried to hold it in but it was to much.

"You must think I'm pathetic".

Vince pulls her away.

"You are not pathetic. You're amazing okay, never forget that. Everything that's happend to you is horrible and it breaks my heart to see you like this. But let me tell you that, letting out your enotions isn't pathetic is actually a sign of strenght. And Gabrielle you're one of the strongest people I know".

"I'm not", she looks down.

"Yes, yes you are.", he pulls her chin up. "I promise you things will get better and yes there will be some blue days but that's okay, it's okay to cry or even scream that doesn't mean you're weak. And I........I want you to always remember that you can always come to me no matter what.", with those last words Gabrielle pulls him into a tight hug.

Vincent's (POV)

He couldn't believe he almost let out his emotions. Gabrielle meant the world to him, she's perfect in every way and everyday that goes by he falls more.

The worst thing is she doesn't have a clue and it drives him crazy the thought that maybe she doesn't feel the same way.

But every time he stares at her brown eyes everything else fades away, those brown eyes are like two magnets pulling him closer and all he want is to get lost in them forever.

Vincent never thought he could feel such emotions, he's known Gabrielle almost his entire life. He never thought he would feel this towards her, it doesn't make sense yet it does because she's really amazing.

Girls like Gabrielle are hard to find now days, she's simple, beautiful, kind, respectful, loyal, compationate, funny, he could talk to her for hours and never get bored. Most important she has a beautiful heart and soul, which is so hard to find this days.

He would never thought that girls like Gabrielle existed in real life.

His biggest fear is that someone else out there will see all that too and take her away from him.

It's a fear he lives in.

As you can see we all have our struggles, some small some big, yet they all drive us mad.
