We arrived in the court yard getting into our lines. There were a few hundred people here. As the clock at the top of the building hit five fifty-five a boy probably early twenties came running in, he looked to be the last one here.
"What is your name trainee?!" I can only assume the head of the training asked.
"Joseph Mitchell, sir." He said his voice a little shaky.
"You are late Mitchell!"
Joseph looks at the clock. "You said 1800 hours sir."
"I know what I said. Showing up five minutes early is late, isn't that right Beyer."
A man standing along the line of navy seals steps up. He was the third tallest one out of the seven guys that were standing in line. They all had matching attire. A tan colored shirt on tucked into a pair of camouflage pants and heavy boots. They all had a buzz cut although his brown hair was a little grown out. He would probably need to cut it soon.
"That is right, Zander." Beyer said. He looks at me. "Even the women arrived on time."
I tried to keep a neutral face, but couldn't letting a small smile grace my lips.
"It won't happen again, sir." Joseph informs Zander, practically begging at this point.
"No, it won't happen again because you're out."
Joseph's eyes go wide. Everyone else stays still, neutral faced, and hands behind back. No one dared to help him. Everyone new how harsh this was going to be. We would receive no mercy. Joseph went to argue with Zander when Zander yelled something along the lines of 'get your stuff and leave.'
I watched Jospeh's fleeting figure into the building. One down.
"Now, that is out of the way. Welcome ladies and gentleman to the navy seals!"
We all cheer, hoot, and holler. "Settle down. My name is Zander if you hadn't already figured that out. Behind me is Beyer the one who will be directing you through all your training."
Beyer nods his head in acknowledgment.
Zander begins again. "We are here to turn you into the most fiercest soldiers that have ever walked this Earth. And you are here to give us all you got. If that isn't enough then you already saw what happened to poor Joseph."
"After this informational meeting you will not hear it again from any of the graduates navy seals. You will eat, sleep, and breathe training." Beyer jumps in letting us know.
They proceeded to provide us the information for our daily routine. Today was Saturday and our first day of training would be Monday, Hell week. They didn't tell us what we would be doing, but everyone had an idea from the description of the website. It was five and a half days on constant moving in the cold, wet, mud, ocean, beach, whatever they could find. Of course, there would be medical staff if something were to go wrong.
We were then put into our teams. My team consisted of Daniel Mavericks, the red head we met before, Josh Turner, Kit Langston, Andrew Cole, Brandon Goss, Ryan Samuel, Alex Rucker, Kyle Myers, and Nicholas Storm. Including me that was ten people in my team. Seal team 10 was our name.
Once we were dismissed I walked up to Zander and Beyer. I was the only trainee out of everyone to do this, my parents told me it would either make a good or bad impression depending how it went. Regardless it would leave an impression.
"Hello, sir. My name is Tara Jenkins, sir." I introduce myself to Zander first. I hold my hand out and he shakes it.
"Nice to meet you." Zander says.
