12. Valentines Day ❤

Y/n sighed laying her face flat against her desk. This day came once a year and she HATED it. All the couples and stuff made her sick. She acted like it was the worst thing in the world but she was actually jealous. She wanted to spend this day with someone special, but who would want to spend it with her?

"Hey, Y/n. We are about to head to lunch. Ready to go?" Uraraka asked, causing Y/n to snap out of her sulking.

"Yeah, sure," Y/n mumbled, "Lead the way."

After a bit of walking they made their way to the lunch table that already had two others seated at it.

"Hey guys," Uraraka greeted the two sitting figures, taking her seat next to Izuku.
"Hey Uraraka. Hey Y/n," Izuku greeted them.

"Hey," Y/n greeted, taking her seat next to Tenya.
Tenya smiled at her and nodded.

Y/n smiled and started on her lunch, listening to the conversation of the others.
"So Y/n. I gotta question, Uraraka said, aiming the conversation at Y/n.

"Ask away," Y/n replied looking up from her lunch.

"Who do you have as a Valentine today?"
The question made Y/n's face heat up from embarrassment. She hated being put on the spot like this! Oh well, Uraraka was just curious.

"Umm. Nobody," Y/n replied looking at the table, avoiding eye contact with anyone.
"I don't really think anyone would want to spend a day like this with me. I'm nothing special," Y/n finished, acting like everything was normal.

"I dont think that at all," Tenya said, causing the h/c haired girl to look at him with a shocked expression.

Izuku and Uraraka looked at the two with wide eyes, curious to see where this was going.

"I am unsure why you would say something so untrue about yourself. You're beyond beautiful, in both soul and looks. You're intelligent. You're strong and courageous," Tenya said, listing things off casually on his fingers. "I dont know why you would say something like that. But I think that anyone would be lucky to have you," Tenya finished, sounding proud.

Y/n just sat their stunned. How do you even reply to that?????
Uraraka and Izuku just started with their mouths wide open.

"Um, Tenya... Did you just confess to
Y/n?" Izuku asked his navy-haired friend.

Tenya nodded looking over at Y/n. Meeting her e/c eyes.
"Yeah, I did. So Y/n, would you allow me to be your Valentine for today?"

Y/n's face turned a light shade of pink but she smiled. "Of course Tenya. Nothing would make me happier!" Y/n said taking Tenya's hand in hers and threading their fingers.

Izuku and Uraraka smiled at the two across from them.

Maybe Valentine's day isn't so bad after all.
