The Infected Part 2

Miles ran over to where Jojo and I were and looked mad ,so was I. Miles spoke up first and said " Who's this?" pointing a finger to Jojo. Then he pointed to Miles saying the same thing. I was still pretty ticked off at Jojo so I said "This is Miles and this is Jojo" introducing the two together quiet casually walking towards the bus going to calm down and introduce myself to the other kids who were running from the corpses, while Jojo and Miles were giving each other dirty looks which kind of confused me. Was Miles jealous that I had some kind of relationship with Jojo or did he think me and Jojo were already together? Whoa. Once I got on the bus every one went bizerk saying i was crazy because I jumped off the bus and gambled with my life and almost got blown to bits by the grenade that I assumed was a smoker. I sat down towards the back and Jojo sat right next to me looking angry. I asked what was up and he went off on me asking a bunch of questions like"Do you like Miles?'', "Are you dating Miles?", "Have you kissed Miles?". I started to bust out laughing. Then I said " We just met him at bass pro shops with his little sister and they wanted to join our team". Jojo looked still a bit ticked off so I asked what was wrong and said " I want to be with you but I'm not so sure I'm the only one". That melted me since he said he still wanted me but it also shut me up for a while. Once we started to move the bus I fell asleep and someone started to yell so that woke me up. I accidentally fell asleep leaning on Jojo and he put his arm around me and then Miles found out which made him start to yell which woke me up realizing what I did. It made sense why I fell asleep so quick since I was next to Jojo but then again even Leyna and Devon gave me looks. I tried to explain to every one but only Kayla and Mia would listen. Once I told them they tried to calm everyone down which worked but Miles was still angry. He kept looking at me like I was treasure. That made me feel even worse. We got inside school and brought things from the teacher'slounge to the cafeteria and made the room dividers by taking a bunch of wooden crates from bass pro shops and stacked them to make walls. Hash found some streamers and we used those to make a streamer door. It worked really well. When Brian was looking for supplies from the stage he found a little bed that was used in one of the plays we had at school that fit Mia perfectly. No one had a bed besides Mia so we had to take every one to their house to take their beds but we ended up just taking the mattresses not the frames and whatever else people didn't take with them in the first place. Rier ended up hijacking an Audi so Miles could go to his house to get his mattress and some of Mia's stuff. Miles asked if I would go with him to his place so I accepted since I wanted time away from Jojo. We headed off with 2 guns, 7 grenades, and a set of throwing knives just to be prepared if  we came across any of the infected. When we got to his house he unlocked the door with some keys he had around his neck which I thought was cute and started to stare at him. "Um are you okay?" Miles questioned. "Oh I'm fine" I said blushing. He figured out I was staring and he smiled. I can't even begin to explain his smile and how it dazed me for a bit. WHAM!!! No, it made me pass out. " Oh My God are you ok you just gave out on me, don't scare me like that ever again!"." What happened Whaa...." THUD!!! Something was making me pass out and was making me feel lightheaded. Miles got me some water and ice which made me feel a lot better. "I guess I was dehydrated" I said feebly. Laughing Miles went to get me crackers and came with some supplies too. "I have some books, toys, a small Radio and some movies with CDs" he stated happily. "I think we should start heading back" I said feeling stable. "Yeah" Miles agreed. Once we got back to school we both went our separate ways to help the others set up our rooms. Everyone was proud of their quarter of the Cafe which was divided into fourths 1girls 1boys 1living room with a T.V. , Radio and a C.D .player which was a luxury considering the circumstances. We even robbed GoodWill for some drawers to hold clothes. And snuck into Walmart for a hose to hook up to the sinks to make a shower for both the girls and boys bathrooms. We we're so lucky to be with our friends mostly protected and to be able to worry so much on the first week we didn't have any sightings of any corpses but we were nervous so we made sure to practice every day whenever we were bored or just felt like it. Miles had cooled off and started to talk to Jojo for a couple minutes each day to get used to each other since they were basically living with each other. With a 8 boy 7 girl ratio every one got along pretty well but I felt like I was forgetting something. I never introduced myself properly to the 3 new kids so I did. Two of the Three were girls who's names were Laylo who was 8 and Allisandra who was 13. The boy's name was Jack and he was 10. All three seemed committed to fighting but they weren't ready yet. On the seventh day of the apocalypse everyone was freaking out since we hadn't got any attacks from the infected. Jojo asked if I wanted to talk since I had been ignoring him lately so we went for a walk in the park a block away and brought some guns and started to walk there. 2mins. later I was leaning on him and he had his arm around me. We got to the park and when we saw the red plane shattered across the grass we froze and I lost it when I saw my twin sister bleeding to death.
