After our attack/relax day everyone was busy preparing for the next attack. I was showing Ava how to shoot at a candle to put it out and make it bigger from a distance. I had to keep Jojo in my room all day because I was still wary of his condition. He didn't seem to pout when he saw Cartoon Network still on air. As I was training in the gym I felt eyes on my back and as I turned around I was choked with someone else's lips crashing against mine. "I got tired of watching Tom an Jerry" he said kissing my neck. "Gosh not here!" I said giggling because of the surfacing groan that I was trying to hide. "Do you feel okay? Your heart is pumping really fast" he said. I wondered how he knew that. "I can hear it loud and clear" he said taking a step back."Even from over here" he murmured across the room. I was pondering on how he could hear my heart but then I heard a grumble and saw Jojo topple over. I screamed not knowing what to do. Miles was already running to me when I opened my mouth. I ran over to Jojo who grabbed me by the waist an pulled me down with him but Miles grabbed my hand and pulled me away from my boyfriend. He pulled so hard that when Jojo let go I fell into Miles' arms. Jojo looked even madder and failed wildly at my legs causing me to get knocked down. I was pulled by Jojo across the floor and ended up being pulled in between them both, while I was screaming for help. Ava saw what was going on and ran away. She came back with Danny, Leyna, Hash, and Devin pointing at me. I was kneeling because I somehow got up from the floor but was still being pulled like a tug of war rope. Snapped out of their trance and tackled Jojo even though he was already on the ground but with Leyna her towering frame overpowered my boyfriend instantly. I was freed when my friends dog piled Jojo. I was once again in Miles' arms when I heard silence. I broke when Jojo looked at me and I felt Miles' breath on my neck hovering over me. Jojo slumped and fell to the ground and next thing I knew I was groaning in a dark room with teeth biting my neck. His meaty hands cradling my head and back. I felt drowsy and blacked out in the dark room. Then I was awoken by a loud bang , louder than a gunshot when I heard a screech that came from Miles. Wait..... I was furious he-he used me I felt my neck and I felt the bite marks. My eyes were red and I was growling like the savage beast I hid from everyone since the beginning of middle school. I howled as my bones rearranged and I was stared at by my boyfriend as my wings sprouted from my back causing unimaginable pain. Miles tackled Jojo as he was walking towards me, knife in hand. But it wasn't me who he wanted to stab me but Miles who almost snuck up on me curiously eyeing my wings.
