Chapter 5: Vain.

Mikoto's POV:

    I was fast asleep when I felt something picked my head up and smashed it into the wall I opened my eyes and said, "Well, well look who decided to show up." I stared into a pair of light violet eyes. "Suoh, let me get straight to the point. All of our monitors are issuing the same warning, your wisseman level is reaching its limit. If you draw more power from the slate I'll be forced to kill you." Munakata said to me. "I have no idea what you're talking about." I said to him.

    "Its pretty simple I'm telling you to renounce your throne." "You know Munakata sometimes you say the most funny things and all with a straight face. I think I'll pass." I said to him. "So that's your answer? Fine I'll just to find a way to keep you locked up here for the rest of your life." He replied back to me harshly. "Actually there is a way to keep me locked in here for ever, you could do it Munakata. The blue king could keep an eye on me personally 24 hours a day, I mean think about it, it's a pretty attractive job with lots of perks, I mean think about it if I were to become violent you be allowed to restrain me by force." I said to him. "As attractive as that sounds I have others things that require both my time and attention, I can't spend as much resources into punishing you as I'd like."

    He said to me. "I'm sorry you feel that way Munakata that's disappointing." I replied back at him as I laid back down on the bed and fell back asleep. "For as well Suoh." I heard him softly say to me. "..." I couldn't fall back asleep so I sat up thinking to myself: 'I never wanted this. I never wanted to be a king, so why the hell did I becoinme a king in the first place?' Suddenly I heard a voice it said to me: "Your powers are not meant for destruction they exist to protect." I knew that voice it was Totsukas. 'Totsuka....Y/n.... I'm sorry.' I thought to myself.

    Then I heard a loud thud that came from outside my cell. "Hm?" I didn't move but I opened my eyes as I thought to myself, 'My clan. They came for me'. I got up and went to the door only see a pair e/c colored eyes staring into the cell as if the person was searching for something or rather someone. "Mikoto? Is that you?" I head a females soft, and gentle voice call out from the other side of the door. "Y/n? Is that you?" I said back. "Mikoto! Guys I found him!" She shouted. 'Huh? Who is she talking to? Wait, Izumo. Of course.' I thought to myself. "Y/n move away from the door." I ordered her. She did as I told her as I used my flames to melt the chains and burn down the door but I soon lost my control, I let my anger take control over me, and I turned to Y/n.

Y/n's POV:

    "Mikoto?" I called out to him hesitantly. He turned to me with wild glowing red amber eyes. 'Oh no he's lost his control.' I thought to myself. "Mikoto stop! Snap out of it!" I shouted at him but he suddenly started to attack me, but his fist stopped inches from my face. "M-mikoto?" I looked at him. 'Mikoto....I'm sorry. Please forgive me.' I thought to myself as I took a step forward and I rose up onto my tip-toes and took a deep breath and I gave him a soft and gentle kiss.

    I felt him relax and I also felt him kiss me back. I pulled my hand back as I stared into his wild amber eyes. "M-mikoto?" I tilted my head at him. He just looked at me he suddenly kissed me. I instantly kissed him back. He pulled back and he had his hand under my chin making me look him in the eyes. "Mikoto...I love you." I muttered to him softly. "I love you to Y/n." He replied back to me. "We should head back, the others are waiting on us." I said to him. He just nodded at him as he took my hand and we headed police of the building and walked to the clan. "Yo." The boys said to us. "We're glad your out." said Yata. Anna ran over to Mikoto and grabbed his jacket. "Well boss?" Izumo said to him. "Hm?" Was Mikoto's reply as he turned his eyes to Izumo. "Finally found your target?" Izumo asked him. "The school boy on the  island." Mikoto replied.

    "Oh yeah! Right where I said he was! I was right wasn't I?" Yata said "No! I thought I said that!" Kamamoto replied back to Yata. Izumo looked behind them and saw a man with black hair and dark blue eyes, he held the rest of the blue clan back. Izumo chuckled at them. "Stand down we are not to do anything. Those are our orders." The man said to them. Mikoto chucked and said to us "Come on let's go." Mikoto started to head to the high school the rest of us followed him. We all headed to the school. I got hungry so I stopped to get a snack and I told the boys that I would catch up with them. But as I came out of the shop I was in I suddenly felt someone grab me by my neck and punch me in my jaw. "I found you." That's the last thing I heard before I lost consciousness.
