Chapter 24

Matt's POV

I'm so so excited for my date with Y/n! It's kinda our first one and I haven't gone on a date for ages! I'm so pleased that Y/n did not leave from my life completely.

She is the first person that she has returned back to me. As for her present, little does she know that I have already paid the check. Whatever she orders will be free for her.

I have decided to go to the jewelry store and buy her something from there. Maybe... a necklace and a pair of earrings for start. I don't want to buy her a ring just yet. Or do I?

I go to the jewelry store and I buy her a necklace, a shiny pair of earrings and a beautiful golden ring with a diamond on it. I didn't mind the cost of those stuff. When I'm in love, I can even sell my house to please my girlfriend!

I go home and I carefully place the presents on the table. I check the time. it's almost seven. I quick run to the massive bathroom of mine to take a shower.

As I get inside the shower, I feel the hot water falling on my bare back. Suddenly, my whole body freezes and thoughts start going through my brain.

Me... Y/n... here in the shower... feeling the water falling on our skins while our lips are dancing together. Our hearts become one, our souls are together!

I feel paralyzed but soon, as that scene ends, I start moving my hands and my feet again.

"Dammit Y/n!"

I mumble under my breath. It's amazing what this girl is doing to me! I have never felt that way before. I know I keep saying this but I mean it.

Soon, I get out of the shower with a towel being wrapped around my waist. Smoke starts coming out of my skin due to the hot water. I get paralyzed again by the image, in my head, of me and Y/n kissing each other.  What's wrong with me? Why do I feel like this?

I know I like her... a lot, but... what if she doesn't like me back? I just hope she does! I hope she says yes!

I brush my teeth and then I go to my closet. I choose a black tuxedo to wear. We'll go to a fancy restaurant so what's the problem?

After I get dressed, I spray myself with cologne. Y/n once told me she really likes my perfumes. Hope it's a good sign! I fix my hair by adding some hair gel. I add some more cologne and I wear my eye contacts. As I said, those eye contacts don't change  my eye color.

I quickly take my phone from my nightstand. I tap on Y/n's contact icon to call her.

"Hey Matt!"

"Greetings Missy! How are you?"

"I'm fine. How are you?"

"I'm fine too. Are you ready for our date?"

"Of course I am! I'm ready to be honest!"

"Alright, I'm on my way to your house!"

"Okay! I can't wait to see you!"

"Me neither! See you soon, gorgeous!"

"Bye handsome!"

I smile as I end the call. I grab my jacket and my car keys and I go to my car. I start the engine.

Your POV

"Y/n, have you finished your homework?"

"Mum, yes and I'm not in high school!"

"Okay. Do you have any money on you?"

"Yes mum!"

"Don't let Matt touch you!"

"I won't mum!"

I receive a text from Matt.

Hey! I'm outside! :)

Alright, I'm coming! :D

"Matt's here mum!"

"Tell him to come inside!"

"Not now mum! I have to go!"

"Have fun kids! Oh my Lord, you're growing up so fast!"

She says being ready to cry. I hug her and I go out. My eyes instantly meet Matt's and a smile appears on my face. I carefully open his car's door.

"Hello Mister Morris!"

"Hello Miss Y/n! How are you feeling today?"

"I'm feeling perfect! How about you?"

"I'm feeling way more than perfect since you've entered my life... and my car!"

"Awe! You're cute!"

"You are beautiful Missy!"

I kiss his cheek and he smiles. He gently takes my hand and kisses it.

"Do you know how to drive?"

"Unfortunately, I don't."

"Okay. Don't let my hand!"

"Why thought?"

"Just hold it tight until I tell you."

"Okay!"

He locks our hands and he carefully places them on that thing which controls the speed of the car. He starts the car and he moves our hands forward.

"So, basically, we need to add some speed to the car. That's why I moved our hands."

"Oh right."

"Shall we go?"

"Yes, please!"
