(Y/n)'s POV
Anticipation filled you as the Shuttle landed with a clank in the enemy's hangar. Droids were all around, some doing normal repairs, others there for your arrival.
General Grievous stood in front of the shuttle, motioning for two droids to go 'retrieve' you. As if you were some object, you were a Queen for Drea's sake! What is with men these days!?
You resisted the urge to sigh and turned to face the two droids. You couldn't help but feel curious though, what did Grievous want with you?
"Your majesty, you'll be coming with us."
You silently nodded and led the way out of the shuttle. In the shadows, before leaving, you could have sworn you saw something. Alas, you were probably just imagining it.
As soon as you left the pod, you came face to face with the General himself.
"Queen (L/n)," Grievous bowed slightly.
"Grievous," you made yourself mimic the bow. You were not happy with the circumstances but this is what has happened, you are forced to adapt.
"Your quarters are this way," He informed. He started to lead you away from the shuttle and towards the inner parts of the ship.
"Of course." You tried to smile a little, following him while a robot escort followed you.
Just before you left the hangar, a loud explosion could be heard behind you. Whipping around, you saw your ship go up in flames.
It reminded you of the dreadful night on Drea. The night you left. The night your adopted brother died. The night in which you let your people down. But it was also the night you met Thora, the night you managed to escape. Saying it was bittersweet was an understatement.
It was the night everything changed.
You hid the tears the were forming in your eyes as the general laughed at the destruction. It was his doing, no doubt.
"Tying up loose ends?" You asked, tightly clasping your hands together behind your back.
"Hah," Grievous ignored your question and continued walking, you had no choice but to follow.
"If I may be so bold General, I would like to know why I am suddenly so important to Separatists. I mean, if I could get away with a couple rookie flyers, you couldn't have been trying that hard to get rid of me." You tried to remember all of the twisting hallways you were seeing so you could get back to the docking bay if you had the chance to escape.
"You were supposed to die in your sleep, Queen (L/n)." Grievous was rather blunt with you, "This is only complicated because you lived."
"I see." you clenched your jaw, "Then why not just kill me now? Finish the job?"
"It's not my choice." The droid general opened the door to a lonely room. "Enjoy your stay, your highness."
"I'll do my best, see you in the morning Grievous." You replied, stepping into the room. With a quiet 'beep' the door behind you closed and you were left in the deafening silence.
The room was little more then a poorly decorated cell with a locked door instead of iron bars. The dingy light located on the ceiling did not help its case. You sighed as you sat down on the bed, the past couple of days finally catching up to you.
