It was July 4th weekend Kamryn pulled into the school parking lot with her red with black strips gt500 Shelby Mustang. It was her birthday present when she turned 17 back in April from her dad and step mom. She got out of the car and walked into the school she found her way to the gym.
When she walked in she saw the cheerleaders standing around when Coach Tucker walked over to her and said "I take it you are Kamryn Taylor Barnum."
"Yes ma'am" Kamryn said
"Perfect girls I want you all to sit down while I do this tryout." Coach Tucker said to the rest of the squad."
"You got your music with you." Coach Tucker asked her.
"Yes ma'am for both cheer and dance. Which one do you want me to do first." Kamryn said
"Whatever song you picked to do your freestyle gymnastics to Ms Barnum. Let's start with that then we will do a cheer routine and a dance routine." Coach Tucker said
"Okay." Kamryn said
She plugged her phone into the docking station and pulled back her blonde hair. She pressed play she started to do her gymnastics to "Thunder" By Imagine Dragons. Back Flips Front flips tucks toe touches hand stands cart wheels round offs back handsprings.
Coach Tucker's eyes went wide as Natasha said "Where did you find her?'
"She found us Natasha she just moved here from North Carolina." Coach Tucker said
"She's amazing at gymnastics." Wanda said as she joined them.
"Okay Kamryn let's see your cheer routine." Coach Tucker said.
She started to do a cheer routine to "Bust A Move" just as the football team was coming into the gym after practice. Bucky was chewing on his mouth guard in a white sleeveless shirt with his football pants carrying in his shoulder pads and his helmet.
"Who the hell is that?' Bucky said
"I have no idea." Sam said
"Okay Ms Barnum.. let's see your dance routine." Coach Tucker said
She started up "Case Of The Ex" for her dance routine for her dance team try out. The boys walked over to Natasha and Wanda. "Guys this girl is fucking incredible." Wanda said
"Clearly.. who is she' Bucky said as he watched her dance.
"Kamryn Barnum.. she's new she just moved here from North Carolina." Natasha said
"My god she's going to be in my homeroom and sitting right behind me." Bucky said
After she finished her dance routine then Coach Tucker said "Okay.. um well you have made both teams. Girls meet our new captain too and new choreographer Kamryn Barnum"
"Are you serious?' Kamryn said
"Yes I am serious I have a feeling this is going to be our year to finally take state at cheer competition." Coach Tucker said
Kamryn smiled "I was on a cheer squad that won state back home."
'According to your school back home you were also pretty good at hitting home runs." The softball coach came in and said "You ready for your try out for the softball team"
"Yes ma'am" Kamryn said
"Alright let's go" Coach Carter said
Kamryn said "Do you need me anymore?'
"Nope we have practice on Monday at noon." Coach Tucker said
"Sounds good see you then." she said as she grabbed her keys and phone and followed Coach Carter to the softball field.
"Oh Barnes it seems you may have met your match." Sam said
"Oh this can't be good." he said as they all went to her softball try out and watched as she pitched perfectly and hit home run after home run.
"Oh no.. fuck me this girl is going to make me look bad." Bucky said
Natasha smirked and said "Oh Bucky Barnes.. you may have a queen to keep you company up there on the king throne."
"Shut up Nat" he said
"Congrats you just earned you a spot and captain spot on the softball team." Coach Carter said
"Thank Coach Carter." She said
She found her way back to the parking lot Bucky was about to get into his diesel truck when he saw her get into her mustang. She revved it up and he said "What the fuck is happening?'
