The night of the state championship basketball game Kamryn was in no mood to deal with Bucky's crap she was on her period and she wanted to get through the game. Bucky lead the boys to victory. After the game was over she grabbed her cheer bag and got on the bus before the boys even left the locker room. She put her headphones in and laid her head against the window.
Bucky sat down beside her and let her be all the way back to the school. The following Monday she was at her locker and he said "So are you busy tonight.'
"Actually I am I have softball practice." she said as she slammed her locker and walked away.
That afternoon she went to her softball practice and imagined Bucky's face and hit home run after home run. After practice was over she went to her car and he said "Hey.."
He opened up his back pack and in a Walmart bag wrapped up so no one could see he placed the bag in her back pack and said "There you go."
She put her back pack in the car and he said "This weekend we start shopping for your dress."
"Yeah.. sure." she said
"Kamryn rules are rules' he said
"Sure." she said
"What's wrong?' he said
"Did you even think that I might not want to go to prom." she said
"Um no but guess what it was part of the wager we made. And you thought you had it in the bag cause you said no sex I don't have to have sex to play well. I"ve been playing long before I had sex at 14 Kamryn the only one it seemed to bother was you once I took that away." he said
"Whatever." she said
"Kamryn.." he said
She got in her car and drove off with her wheels squealing. She went home and did her homework. Bucky kept trying to call her and text her but she ignore him. All week Bucky tried to get her to talk to him and she would just walk away.
He went to Natasha and said "What did I do to piss her off?"
"Buck she's new here and the reason why she moved was because she lost her mom last year her mom had a heart attack unexpectedly she wasn't sick or had any kind of heart problems. She had to move to Macon to live with her dad and step mom. All she wanted was a great first year here and you made it a living hell for her. She almost died cause she cheered through the flu cause she wasn't resting like she should of been. Your mom would pump you with fluids after the games but she would go home and watch all of our cheer comps to figure out our mistakes." Natasha said
"oh.." he said
"She wasn't trying to rule the school Bucky." Wanda said
