saturday afternoon: daegu

jungkook studied his surroundings, taking in the new sights of buk district, daegu. he dragged his luggage next to him in one hand, the other grasping y/n's as she navigated her way to the car that would be waiting for them.

yoongi's brother, junki, was kind enough to offer to pick them up and drive them to their hotel while driving yoongi back to his house with their parents, also known as y/n's aunt and her aunt's husband.

"hi hyung," yoongi greeted as he sat in the passenger seat next to junki, he then gestured to jungkook and her, "you remember little y/n, and that's jungkook, her boyfriend."

"i can introduce myself, thanks," she said with a sarcastic tone as she rolled her eyes, "and i'm not little. i'm turning twenty-two this year."

"not after me though," jungkook teased, "so that means you are little."

she looked at him, a smile on her lips despite the next two words that came out from her mouth, "shut up."

he chuckled, his arm rounding her shoulders as he leaned back against the seats.

"nice to meet you junki hyung," he grinned, waving.

he glanced at him through the rear view mirror, a smile on his lips as well, "same goes to you jungkook."

the older began driving, and yoongi chatted to him, asking a few questions about the family like he normally does. meanwhile, jungkook fumbled through his pockets and brought his earphones out, plugging it into his phone and passing one pod to y/n, playing some of his favourite music.

occasionally, they would start humming in sync with each other, then he would proceed to do a ridiculous dance move to it that made her burst out laughing.

junki subconsciously smiled at the sound of her laugh, "wow, she really found someone," he whispered softy to his younger brother.

yoongi nodded, "yea, and i'm happy for her."

they arrived at the hotel within a few minutes, and junki dropped them off, yoongi poking his head out from the window and yelling at her, "remember to meet us tomorrow for lunch!"

she nodded and gave him a thumbs up, which he responded with by smiling and ducking back into the car.

"wow, yoongi hyung is not what i expected him to be when he's not at work," jungkook mumbled. she hummed in agreement and dragged him with her as she approached the receptionist, signing in under her name in the room she had booked.

thanking the lady, they took the lift up, pressing the key card against the sensor and entering the room. it was large, and looked rather luxurious. he studied his surroundings, noting every window, door, and object. just in case.

plopping their luggage down, they jumped onto the bed after kicking their shoes off, enjoying the comfortable feeling of the mattress beneath them.

jungkook rolled over to her, his arm snaking around her waist as he tucked a piece of stray hair behind her ears, "so jagi, what do you feel like doing tonight?"

she thought for a moment before her eyes lit up, the equivalent of a lightbulb going off above her head, "let's go on a date."

he chuckled, "a date?"

"yea, we've never been on a date before, haven't you realised?" she pointed out, "we've never been on an official date before."

he nodded, "okay then, where do you want to go?"

"a night market," she answers after awhile, "i don't really know so let's go to a night market, they have a lot of different things."

"sounds like a date," he smirked, "we'll leave at six."
