Y/n POV
*The day Y/n left to check on her dad and effectively broke Felix's heart :)*

Previously, on Stupid Muffin!

"Chan, I know I didn't send you the photo of my outfit, bu-"

"Y/n, sweetie. It's not Chan, it's your mother. I'm sorry to say this, but your father us in the hospital. We don't know if he will be okay, but I need you to come back to Australia." Tears fall from my eyes as I pull the car over and park on the side of the road.

"What happened? Is he okay?"

"I don't know, I just got a call telling me he's in the hospital. Please come back, Honey."

"Okay, I'll be right there."

I move my car from the side of the road, driving down the road somewhat faster than I should. Anxiety builds up in my chest, threatening the burst out at any given moment. My heart pounds harder and faster as I drive to the airport.

After finally getting through the horrible traffic, I parkmy car. Free parking space, yo. I run to enter the airport, immediately moving to the ticket machines. (I've been on a plane, like four times, idk.)

Taking the ticket from the large machine, I look at it. The flight is today in an hour. That's oddly convenient. Weird. I meander through the building, trying to find a place to burn time. I discover a small cafe, it strikes the feeling that one gets when they forget something. I shake my head, erasing the feeling. I enter the cafe and approach the counter, ordering a pastry, as well as a hot chocolate. I sit down at a nearby table, waiting for my food and drink to be ready. A few minutes pass and the barista calls my name. I stand and walk over to the counter once more, taking my snack. I make my way back to my seat, beginning to eat my pastry. I sit, thinking. Is my father okay? Why is he in the hospital? The anxiety that had slowly died down, returns full force.

My eyes train down to the table. I begin to wonder if he's seriously hurt, or worse dying. Tears fall from my eyes, hitting the table snd some of my pastry softly. A gentle pressure is added onto my shoulder. I look up. A staff member is standing next to me, hand on my shoulder worriedly.

"Are you alright, Ma'am?" She questions. I nod slightly, still crying. She doesnt look convinced, but leaves, giving me space.

I glance at the clock on the wall of the cafe. I should get to the plane. It's been forty minutes already. Time flies. I get up, throwing my trash in the garbage.

I leave the cafe, searching for my gate number, 12. Walking through the long hallways, I look up to see a large overhead sign displaying the words, "Gate 12". I approach the waiting area, sitting down and glance at clock once more. Five minutes. I look at my hands and start to fiddle with them, wasting time.

"Flight 12, for Sydney, Australia is now boarding. Please make your way to the entrance."

I hop up from my seat and almost run to the entrance. I show my ticket to the staff member and walk through the gate, into the plane. I relax into my seat, looking out the window and wait for the plane to move. After, almost everyone is situated, I hear a phone chime from the back. A sense of dread hits me as I remember my phone. Its sotting in the car right now. I need to go get it.

"Hello passengers! This is your pilot speaking. I welcome you on the plane and hope you have a fun time flying to Sydney!" The pilot chirps.

The gate way from the plane to the airport unattaches and the door closes, firmly.

Hopefully no one steals my phone while I'm gone. I shouldn't be gone that long anyway. I should sleep a little.
