Chapter 11: Baby I'd Kill For You

Momo POV

Y/N and I have been working tirelessly on this album for over a month now and the first two songs are set. Power and Troublemaker, tracks 1 and 2 respectively, are very energetic, fun dance songs that I'm incredibly proud of. Jihyo helped me with the lyrics and Y/N kept his word and got Minnie from Trinity to help and Jennie from Blackpink was even able to give me some advice. I was able to create the choreography for the songs by myself since dancing's my forte.

Y/N and I have spent a lot of time together working on this album and he's such a great guy. He eventually told me what happened between him and Rosie and I can't believe her. To do that to anyone is awful but an amazing guy like Y/N? She's the bottom of the barrel in my eyes now. A few days after he told me everything I noticed he didn't smell of vodka anymore. I thought I might've just gotten used to it but Jennie was able to confirm he had, in fact, stopped drinking which made me so happy to hear. I can't help but feel for him and the pain he's gone through. All I want to do is hold him and protect him and kiss him. NO! STOP IT MOMO! I've been having thoughts about Y/N for weeks now and I need to stop, he's my producer. I need to stay professional.

Last week, Y/N and I decided the third song would be listed as a "Bonus Track" since it's going to be different, but I'm still having some trouble figuring out exactly what it'll be about and how it will be different. "I think I want it to be a slower, more powerful song than the others. I love them but they're more 'party time' songs and not as emotional as I want this one to be," I tell Y/N.

"I agree completely. Especially as a bonus track, something strong and emotional would really surprise people and if we do it well enough will get people talking and spread the word of mouth for the album," Y/N says, looking over his notes on the album so far. "Only thing is a song like that probably wouldn't have a choreographed dance. Are you ok with that?"

"I don't want one for this song, that's what the other two were for," I tell him.

"Alright, well what's this song going to be about?" He asks me and I don't have an answer. "What are some strong emotions you feel?" He asks, seeing I'm stumped.

"Well, I have a bunch of very strong friendships; I'm passionate about dancing; and..." I freeze not wanting to confess my attractions to Y/N.

"And?" He pries.

"Well, there's this guy..."

"Oh reaaaaalllyyyyy???" Y/N teasingly asks in a high pitch causing us both to laugh.

"Yeah, but nothing can happen between the two of us so it's no big deal."

"On the contrary, forbidden love could make for a great song! Try it. What would you do for him?"

I scoff, "Anything."

"Really? Anything? You'd change religious beliefs? Forgive their worst of mistakes? Commit crimes for them?"

"I mean I probably wouldn't ACTUALLY commit crimes for them but-" I start to say.

"But that's the feeling," Y/N says, getting it.

"Yeah."

"Well if you could sell it, then I'd just go for broke. Make a song about how you'd do anything for this guy. You'd commit murder for this guy if he'd have you."

I laugh, "You want me to sing about murdering people?"

"No, I want you to sing about love so passionate that you would do anything for them, just like you described. The murder is hyperbole, an exaggeration for the dramatic story you're telling."
