I sit down at the piano backstage of K-Pop Con and think about everything that's happened since the breakup. All the shit with Khan, the loss of all my best friends, the loss of the greatest love I'll ever know, and now potentially the ending of the group I've loved being a part of will all my heart. We aren't even performing together tonight; everyone is going to see that as confirmation that we've broken up so I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow morning now. Jennie performed Solo, Lisa is performing as part of a dance collaboration with a bunch of other idols later in the show, and Jisoo isn't doing anything. Y/N is making a surprise appearance during Momo's solo stage in a little bit, but I don't think I can bring myself to watch it. I'm going to be debuting my new original solo song Eyes Closed. No one's heard it yet because, well no one talked to me anymore and I'm not exactly rushing for Khan to hear it as I'm not sure how he'll react since it's clearly about Y/N.
I consider practicing it now but as my hands rest on the keys they just start moving on their own and begin playing Love the Way You Lie, Part II. The song that let me meet Y/N.

Y/N POV
As I walk down the hallway, I hear a faint piano playing a familiar tune.
"Just gonna stand there are watch me burn. Well, that's alright because I love the way it hurts..." I hear angelically come from behind a door slightly cracked open. I gently ease the door open to see the only person in the world who can sing this beautifully playing the song that brought us together 3 years ago. I listen from the doorway as she approaches my part of the song. "'til the walls... are going up... in smoke with all... our memories..."
