Chapter 13: Lights, Camera, Action

SEPTEMBER 29, 2021

Y/N POV

I hop out of my car and walk onto the set for Momo's Power music video. She and I have been texting back and forth our ideas for the video for the past few days. Seeing as the song is about women's empowerment we agreed to have only women dancers in the video. After surfing YouTube one night I ran across a few "dance battle" videos setting Lisa against Momo, so I texted Momo and asked if she'd be interested in doing an actual dance battle in the video against her. She loved it and so did Lisa. Mina and Tzuyu agreed to appear as Momo's team for the video and Minnie and Jeannie of Trinity agreed to be Lisa's team so everyone in the video is a strong female kpop idol. The video is going to end with both teams setting aside their differences and all dancing together.

I walk over to the field we're filming to find Naive Creative Production setting up. NAIVE has made most of TWICE's videos so Momo wanted to work with them again since she's comfortable with them. I walk over to the director and start to chat about the video.

Momo POV

I'm sitting under a tent, joking around with Mina and Tzuyu when I see Y/N's car pull up to set. He walks over to the production guys and starts chatting with them.

"There he is," Mina says teasingly to me.

I smile and blush, "Yeah... so what?"

Mina and Tzuyu giggle. Y/N and I announced our relationship privately to our friends about a week ago. We still haven't figured out how to tell JYP yet. TWICE's dating ban was lifted way back in 2018 but he still wants to "approve" our relationships before publicly announcing because of how the publicity might be. Y/N hasn't been in the public's favor lately so we're afraid he'll say no. In spite of all of that, all of TWICE has been teasing me about the relationship nonstop.

"You two are really cute together," Tzuyu tells me and my cheeks just get redder. Y/N finishes up with the production crew and starts to walk over towards us. I get up from my seat we embrace before giving each other a peck on the lips.

"Awwwwwwww," Mina and Tzuyu giggle.

"Shut up!" I say, whipping my head back to them as Y/N tightens our embrace and kisses my temple.

"Yeah leave them be!" I hear someone say. I look to my right and see Lisa walking over with Lee, Blackpink's manager.

"Hey Lisa," I tell her and we give each other a hug. "Thanks again for doing this."

"Of course Unnie!" Lisa tells me before giving Y/N a quick friendly hug, "Hey Oppa."

"Hey Lili, glad to see you made it. You two ready to do this?"

"Yeah, just give me some time to warm up," I tell Y/N and I go with Lisa, Mina, and Tzuyu to warm up as Minnie and Jeannie arrive.

Y/N POV

I watch as they all start to stretch. Momo catches me staring at her and smiles as I quickly turn away and blush. I take a seat in the producer's chair in video village and look over the shooting schedule. Today we're going to film the field scenes today which are mostly shots of Momo solo and Momo with Tzuyu and Mina to be inter-spliced throughout the video as well as all 6 girls dancing together for the ending. Tomorrow we film in NB2, a nightclub in Seoul, for the majority of the video which includes the main dance battle scene which I'm really excited to see.

About 30 minutes later, the director tells me, Jiae, and Lee that they're ready to start and they go inform the girls who are now in the wardrobe for the video. We begin with the shots of the 6 girls and after a few hours of filming they finish allowing Lisa, Minnie, and Jeannie to go home for the day. We then film the trio shots so Mina and Tzuyu can finish up, and finally, there's only Momo. I watch as she dances in the field, her hair lightly blowing in the wind which also causes the flowers next to her to gently sway as well. We film a few close-ups on Momo lying in the field singing and I watch on the monitor in video village. I zone out, gazing deep into her gorgeous, dark brown eyes. Momo moves off the screen and I snap out of it as she walks over and snuggles up against my arm.

"Oppa, I'm so cold," she tells me as she shivers. Considering her outfit for the video is a sleeveless dress with a short hem. I look around for her jacket and can't find it right away so I take mine off and put it around her as she cuddles into my chest as I hold her.

SEPTEMBER 30, 2021

As we finish the last shots of Momo, Mina, and Tzuyu dancing in the club, Lee informs me that Lisa, Minnie, and Jeannie are warmed up to film the dance battle scene. I get excited; this is the scene I've been waiting for since it was agreed upon.

NAIVE sets up for the dance battle and the 6 girls do some last minute rehearsals before we begin doing the scene. We film a bunch of shots of the girls going back and forth.

We filmed more than we can use but Momo and Lisa really got into it so we all just kept filming. The edited segment of the video will probably only be 30 seconds to a minute long and we filmed for well over an hour. They didn't hold anything back and it was obvious on the faces they were having the time of their lives dancing. When we finally decided to stop the girls took a 5-minute break. Momo near collapsed into my arms she was so tired. "I think you won Lisa," she panted out as she leaned against me.

"You're kidding right Momoring?" Lisa retorts, also panting, "You swept the floor with me out there."

"Ladies, ladies you were both fantastic. There's a reason the video doesn't declare a winner and it's because you're both two of the most talented dancers in the industry," I tell them and both smile at me.

"Aw thank you, Oppa," Momo says as she kisses my cheek.

Lisa leans her head against my shoulder. "You're the best Oppa," she tells me and I chuckle.

"Alright you two, go get some water and sit down for a few minutes," I tell them and they head over to the craft services table to get some water and a quick snack before sitting down to relax. I rewatch some of the highlights and even though I've worked with these girls a bunch it still baffles me how talented they are.

We film some more shots of the 6 girls dancing together and some shots of the trios dancing in sync before we wrap on the music video. I thank all the production staff for their hard work and I say goodbye to Lisa, Minnie, and Jeannie before driving Momo, Mina, and Tzuyu to their dorms.

A/N: Sorry for the smaller and slower chapters, I've been having some trouble thinking up chapters lately. I'm going to take a small hiatus to figure out what I'm going to do with this story and then write out a few chapters. Be sure to follow me if you done as I will post updates on my message board.
