A week later...
Katrina and Jackson have been getting closer and closer. Nobody was suspicious of what had happened that night at the game but that was something that had kept Katrina going. It gave her a little bit of hope that he might like her.
At the moment, Katrina was talking to her friend Katherine. She had to tell somebody else what she was feeling.
"Oh my God, Katrina. That's amazing!" Katie said with joy. "I can see it now. You guys will grow up and get married and have kids and name one after me and you guys will love each other forever and ever and—"
"Katie, chill out. You're getting way ahead of yourself." Katrina said, cutting her off. "It probably won't work out anyway." Says Katrina with sorrow in her words.
"Hey. Don't talk like that. Everything will be fine. Anyway, you'll get married and spend Christmas's with his family and—," Katie rambled on and on about their future together while Katrina's mind drifted, thinking about when and how she was going to tell Aubrey.
Time skip because I'm anxious to write the next part
It was another Friday night football game and Aubrey and Katrina were actually watching the game. They went over to concessions to get something to drink because it was surprisingly hot outside for a September night.
The game was going well and the Bulldogs were winning by 2 touchdowns. Kat and Aubrey were about to do their annual walk around the field but Jackson stopped them.
"Hey guys," he said, "Where you going "
"Kat and I were just going to walk around the field," Aubrey said.
"If anything, you should be one to know that." Katrina spoke up, "I mean, you did hit me with a ball last week as we finished one."
"I wasn't paying attention to you when I threw the ball," said Jackson
"Okay well you weren't even wondering why we were that close to the fence?" said Katrina
"Nope. Not at all," Jackson said with a smirk. "I don't question your weirdness."
Aubrey's Pov
Jackson and Katrina have been talking quite a bit. We are already on the other side of the field and they've been talking nonstop.
My phone starting vibrating inside of my pocket so I knew I was getting a call.
I pulled it out and answered it without looking at the contact information.
"Hello?" I said and Kat and Jackson stopped talking.
"Aubrey, Where are you?" It was my sister.
"Walking around the field. Why?"
"Mom is here. It's time to go. And she's mad."
"Okay. I'm on my way."
I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket.
"Who was that?" Kat asked me.
"Just Alexis. My mom is here."
Jackson spoke up, "Alright, Let's get back to our side and you can leave."
And from there, the three of us ran back to our side of the field and I said goodbye.
I wonder what's going on between Kat and Jackson
3rd Person Pov
After Aubrey left, Jackson returned to his friends and Kat returned to hers.
