The girls had spent a long time on figuring out what to do. Who's phone were they going to call? Do they disguise their number? What should they say? They eventually decided to look online for ideas and when they found one, they knew it was just right.
They wanted to make sure everything was perfect so they had it written down like a script. They had all of the possible responses planned out and what they were going to say.
They typed in Jackson's number (which Katrina stole from Sam's phone), disguised it with star 6 7, and hit the call button.
It rang once. Twice. Three times. They didn't answer.
"Let's try again but not disguise the number." Katrina said. "Jackson doesn't have my number so he won't know it's me." Kat held up Aubrey's phone, preparing to record the interaction.
They tried again but this time without the sta 6 7. It rang once. Twice. Three times.
"Hello?" Zach answered. Why would he have Jack's phone?
Aubrey froze. She was supposed to be the one talking but she couldn't do it without laughing.
Katrina took over, and put down the video camera.
"Hi this is Brad from the Oklahoma Institute of just dance," Katrina said in to the phone with a masculine voice.
"What up homie?" Zach said.
Katrina froze too. She couldn't make out what Zach had just said so she started over.
"Hi this is Brad from the-" but then she was cut off by knocking on the front door.
"Oklahoma Institute," Zach finished for her.
Katrina ran to the door to let her dad inside while Aubrey finished the call.
"We would like to confirm your order for 39 exotic, female dancers, for your bachelor party, on Sunday, October 21st." Aubrey said, while jumping up on the kitchen counter.
"Uh, the 21st?" Zach said, playing it off. "I think I can make it."
"Well it's your bachelor party," I whispered to Aubrey.
"It's you bachelor party," Aubrey copied. "You should be able to make it," she said to Zach through the phone.
"Okay, I'll be there," Zach went along with it.
"Great," Aubrey answered. "Your total cost will be $352 and 82-" He hung up.
The girls started laughing hysterically.
"So he was all for it," Katrina said. "But then he hung up when it came time for money."
"Yeah," Aubrey said "I would've too if I was trying to get away with something that isn't mine."
For some reason, all 3 of them jumped back when they heard a phone ringing. It was Kat's. It was a number that she had never seen.
"It's probably Ethan or Garrett," Katrina said. "I don't have their number."
"Well answer it," Aubrey said in a rushed tone.
"Hello?" Katrina said, into the phone.
"Hey," said the other line. It sounded like Zach. "Who is this?"
"Uh, this is Scott." Katrina answered in a low voice.
"Well Scott," Zach said. "You just called my friends phone here. Why?"
Katrina passed the phone to Aubrey. She didn't know what to say.
"No I didn't," was Aubrey's answer.
"Yes you did," Was all Zach said.
Katrina and Kylie couldn't hold it in anymore. They started laughing which made Aubrey laugh and eventually, they were all laughing and Zach caught on quickly as to who he was actually talking to.
"Listen, just meet us all outside okay?"
"Which outside?" Aubrey asked stupidly, in her regular voice.
"Just meet us there." Zach hung up.
"Well that was random." Kylie said.
"Should we do it?" Katrina asked.
"Well yeah, we have to." Aubrey said.
So the girls put on their coats and went outside.
A/N This one is pretty short compared to the rest. I haven't posted in a couple of days and I'm at camp right now so I won't post the rest of the weekend. But basketball season is ending on Tuesday so I should be back on track after that.
