Just a quick A/N, if something is in italics, it's what somebody is thinking
Katie's Pov
I am so happy for Katrina. Her and Jackson are prospering and I can totally see them dating.
Every chance she got, she would hang out with him. One day after school, I was about to get on the bus to go home when Katrina stopped me.
"Hey Katie!" She shouted "Are you going to the game today?"
"No, I can't," I answered. "My mom is making me go home and watch my sister."
"Well that sucks." She said. "Well tonight I'm going to hang out with Jackson before my volleyball game starts so that's good."
"Good?" I said with joy, "That's great! You guys are doing so well."
"Hey, Kat!" I heard Jackson shout down the hallway. "Are you coming or what?"
She kept facing towards me and shouted, "Just a sec."
"Wish me luck!" She whisper yelled, giving me a thumbs up and beginning to turn around.
"Good luck," I said quietly so only she could hear. "Bye."
3rd Person Pov
Katrina ran away from Katie and towards Jackson. She was anxious to just be near him. Every time he spoke to her, she got butterflies in her stomach.
Katrina and her friends were on their way uptown. Their local Subway/Gas Station provided them a way to get food when they stayed afterschool for situations like this.
It was her, Aubrey, and Kylie who were walking as a group. And then it was Jackson and Aidan who were walking home. Their house just so happened to be the same way that the gas station was, so the two boys joined them on their walk.
On the way there, they talked about how the game was going to go and they also threw in a couple of things that happened during the school day like homework and drama.
Eventually, Jackson and Aidan crossed the road and went to their houses after agreeing that they would go back to the school to watch the girls play in their volleyball game.
Katrina and her friends made it to Subway and got some things to eat, before returning to the school. They were messing around before the 7th graders game started and when it did, Jackson, Aidan, Zach, and Brett showed up to watch before their football practice.
Katrina decided to leave her friends' side to go and sit next to Jackson. She walked right up the bleachers and sat down.
"Hey." She said with a little wave. "You look lonely."
"Nah," He responded. "I'm just tired."
"You could still sit with your friends if you're tired," Katrina said, proud of coming up with that so quickly.
"That wouldn't change the fact that I'm tired," he snapped back right away.
God he's so witty
Katrina couldn't help but to think about how smart he is, even if that response had nothing to do with his smarts.
I'm sitting so close to him right now. This is all so new to me.
The game was dragging on and on. 7th grade is the first year for volleyball players so it isn't very complex and there are no plays involved. Nobody really knows what they're doing and it's pretty slow.
"This game is taking forever," Katrina said, breaking the silence. "Was is like this when we were 7th graders?"
Jackson's Pov
Katrina came and sat next to me while watching the 7th graders play volleyball. The game was so slow and boring.
Katrina was being surprisingly quiet which is odd considering she liked to talk.
I looked ahead and noticed that the bleachers seemed emptier than they were a minute ago.
I wonder where Aubrey and her friends went.Katrina spoke up and broke me away from my thoughts.
"This game is taking forever. Was it like this when we were 7th graders?"
"Yeah," I responded. "It was exactly like this."
Except the girls on the court were better looking
Katrina's Pov
Jackson was being surprisingly quiet. Every time we're with friends, he's always talking.
I wonder what he's thinking about.
Him and I were inches apart. I was wearing my spandex so my legs were exposed and it was still hot outside so he was wearing a pair of shorts.
Our exposed legs were almost touching each other and it brought a whole different feeling to my heart.
What was this feeling?
A/N
This chapter kind of sucked.
Tomorrow's will have a better plot
