Oh poor Y/n, no one to talk to, no one to ask for advice
What are you going to do now?
Are you going to see him?

I clutched my head in agony. The voices, they are getting louder. They are getting harder to ignore. But they said some things that I do ponder myself.

I have no idea what to do. There's no doubt that if I go and meet him, Aphmau would be devastated. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to do this especially after the hospitality Aphmau had shown me. You would think after years of killing I'd be more contempt at things like this.

I sighed and paced around my living room. I looked to my couch and found Aaron's hoodie he had left after our first meeting. I meant to give it back but never got the chance to. I don't think he minds as he hasn't asked for it back yet. I bent down to grab the hoodie and held it close to me...

I think I'll go. After all, Aphmau can't stop me from seeing my friends. I walked back to my room and set the hoodie on the ottoman.

Oh little Y/n, you finally made your choice to see him.
But is he really a friend?
Or are you lying to yourself?
Perhaps something more than a friend?

What? As far as I recall, he is just a friend. It would be quite improper for me to date for they are only a burden to my future plans. And even if I did like him, he probably has someone else in mind to date.

Who would want to date a monster like me?

I went to my closet, silently wishing I could somehow get rid of or at least communicate with the haunted voices in my house. They are so apparent and confusing to me. Perhaps Aphmau hears these voices too?

I got dressed in a white tank top paired with jeans and my Adidas jacket to keep warm. I walked out the door, leaving a small note on the kitchen counter that said:
Went out for a little bit, be back whenever. -Y/n

I decided to walk this time as it gave me time to think without the risk of crashing into another vehicle. Upon reaching the destination, I walked around for a bit. At exactly 7 pm, I got a message from Aaron telling me where in the park I was supposed to meet him as. The sun was already setting and nightfall would bestow itself upon me soon. I regret not bringing a weapon in case this was some sort of premeditated murder plan.

After walking aimlessly, I reached a relatively peaceful looking area in the park. There were no playgrounds to obstruct the view of the night sky. Stars flooded into my view as I continued walking. Trees surrounded a lovely little area where two blankets and some pillows were present. I looked up to see Aaron by one of the trees.

"Umm Hey," I said awkwardly. He nodded and directed me towards the blankets. "So, what is this for?" I asked. He didn't say much and walked towards me.

"I thought that this whole fiasco deserved some explaining." He answered. I nodded

"So what is the backstory behind this?" I asked. He hesitated for a bit before responding.

"Aphmau and I meet when online and became friends through the game we played. But in real life, we were not the best of friends. It wasn't until we found that we were the characters on the online games we played. Out relationship improved after that. I liked her for a little bit but that "crush" died out for me after college." Aaron answered.

I thought for a bit before I could conjure a proper answer. I was speechless at what he had said. I guess they have a history rooted far before I came along.

For the rest of the night, we just hung out and talked. It was quite peaceful and calm, a nice getaway from all the drama. The voices that were present prior seemed to disappear when I'm near him.

After the night, Aaron and I walked back to our neighborhood and went our separate ways. I feel kind of bad as I enjoyed myself tonight. When I got home, I went straight to my room. I sat on my bed and thought of what happened and what I've learned. Unfortunately, the voices seem to be back.

How self of you to enjoy the company at the expense of a friend.

Hello to my dear readers! I hope you guys are liking the story so far. I had a lot of fun writing this. Its been a while since I uploaded but I hope you guys aren't too upset at it. See you guys next chapter.
