(Above is an actual picture of a spooky mansion burning... you will see how it's related later...)

Your pov

As you might recall, Aaron asked me on a date!! Ok well maybe not a date, just hang out at the carnival. But I was still excited.

However...
There was a slight problem....
I have no idea what to wear. I dug through my closet hoping to find some suitable clothes for the carnival.

I ran to the closet and found some suitable clothes for the date... I mean hang out..

Your outfit ^^^

I think it looks nice. The flannel would be a nice if it ever gets cold, I thought to myself.

I'm honestly on a high right now. Who knew a guy could make me feel this way. He made all my ex's seem like petty toys I played with... ok that sounded wrong. What I meant was they all seemed unimportant after I've meet this hunk of a beast that cooks like a pro.

I munched on the food he left for me as thoughts invaded my mind.

-time ship to the carnival-

Aaron arrived at 12 like he promised to do and took us to the carnival. He himself was dressed in a nice t-shirt and jeans. Honestly he would have looked good in anything.

I would prefer him naked if you know what I mean, my brain stated as some mortifying pictures invaded me. I blushed a bright red, afraid he'd hear my thoughts.

I ignored the dirty thoughts running through my head as Aaron gracefully parked the car and got out. He opened my door like a gentlemen and took my hand as we walked into the carnival.

After some arguing, Aaron went to pay for our tickets. I scuffed as he handed me my band that showed I paid to come in. I didn't like for him to pay as I could have done so myself.

We walked through the carnival, admiring the rides as we decided what we wanted to ride.

I wouldn't mind riding him 😏my brain once again told me. I couldn't believe how horny she was... wait was my brain a she or a he... I didn't know but all I knew was that my brain has thoughts that should never be said out loud unless I wanted a one way trip to the mental institution.

Aaron let out a small cough, snapping me back to reality. I gave him a meek smile and randomly pointed to one of the rides, pretending I actually knew what was going on.

Unfortunately, my choices aren't very wise so I ended up directing us to a giant spooky (spookay) mansion. I grimaced at the thought of entering the creepy horror house. I've only been to a few of these in my life and they are either creepy or just awkward. But knowing it was probably clowns and other serial killer styled make up, I took my chances. I could rethink this but I didn't.

Aaron lead us over to the spooky mansion and the worker gestured for us to follow the trail. She herself was dressed as a mime with a ghostly pale face and deep red makeup. I followed the trail with Aaron by my side.

First came the carnival attractions but all looking abandoned with the decay of some mold. I looked at it with disgust as a piece of fleshy looking thing fell in front of us. I managed not to scream as I picked up the realistic model. It was creepy as it felt like and looked like a piece of decaying human skin, painted to resemble a part of the makeup clowns wear. I dropped the item, frightened by its realistic appearance and texture. I knew there was more to come as we arrived at the beginnings of a maze. The dim lighting made it harder to see as I knew there was gonna be more horrific sights ahead. Aaron took the first step and I followed. Soon I had to lead as the way through the maze became more and more difficult. The first few scares didn't spook me as much, but I didn't want to let my guard down. Suddenly, I heard screaming. This made me sprint as I realized the noise was coming from the outside. I ran through the maze, not knowing where to go as I felt the heat go up. I couldn't tell if I was simply sweating or if the heaters were turned on for a scarier effect. But it made it harder to run. I looked back to see Aaron was still following me. I didn't know what was about to happen but whatever it is, it scared the hell out of me.

Someone outside was yelling "It's on fire!!! It's on fire!! Get out everyone!!"
I panicked as Aaron seemed to stiffen as well. The heat continued to rise as I hear people outside start to run. I picked up my pace as well as Aaron and we tried to find the exit. But whoever made this maze, was sure an expert because we couldn't find a way out. All of a sudden, a giant piece of the ceiling fell. Aaron stopped me just in time before the piece of timber fell on me. Terrified, I realized the building was on fire. I sprinted the other way, running from the now spreading fire. Aaron followed closely behind as we ran.

Light flooded through the opening as another piece of the roof fell. More and more of the roof caved in and parts of it fell, lighting the fabric laced walls and floor on fire. The smoke clogged up the air making it harder to breath. Both Aaron and I were exhausted as we tried to escape the literal horror house. Running away I knew I might not make it but it was worth a shot. I spotted a small hole through the burning pieces of cloth. It was our only chance. I grabbed Aaron's hand as I ran as fast as I could. I slid between the pieces as Aaron followed my lead. The rest of the maze must have burnt already as I found us outside.

I saw my flannel being taken away from my waist and saw it being thrown to the ground and stomped on by Aaron. I questioned his actions before realizing it must have been caught on fire when we slid through the small opening. I signed and joined the rest of the crowd, fleeing the area. I was out of breath by the time we reached his car. We both got in and drive back to my house.

Well that was definitely not what I had expected. I just hope no body actually died...

Finally another chapter out.
If u guys couldn't tell, this chapter was inspired by an actual spooky mansion/horror house/ whatever u call it.

But to be more exact, it was inspired by the spooky mansion from 6flags great adventure about 30 years ago, as it burned down and killed 7 teens who were burnt so badly, they were unrecognizable.

Yeah it's scary...

But anyways I hope u guys liked it, I thought it was a good twist and I, myself have never been to a carnival before so... I hope the descriptions were accurate, I've only ever been to amusement parks so I based it off of that.
