One minute.... two minutes.... three hours.... 5 hours....
Almost like a clock ticking, you counted the time as it passed. Kawaii~Chan has just left. Or at least, that's what it felt like. You sat up in your bed, accidentally disturbing Drei's sleep. You took a really deep breath.
The depression from your dad's death was really getting to you, but it was less than a week ago, so it would make sense, but still, it was kinda out of hand.
You sighed at the internal struggle, before looking over at your phone, which still had the sweets Kawaii~Chan gave you on top. You grabbed both items. Popping the lid open, you grabbed a cookie.
Holding it with your teeth, you closed the tupperware again, placing it back. You grabbed your phone, pressing the home button. The screen flared to life. Unsurprisingly, there were a lot of messages from school friends. The top one was from Kawaii~Chan, a few hours ago.
I'm coming over
You sighed and pressed your thumb against the home button. The phone unlocked and opened, revealing your home screen. You swiped around for a bit, before selecting a random app. A game. You shrugged to yourself before starting to play it.
6 hours, 6 and a half hours...
Dinner came, and you surprised your mother by coming down to eat, instead of her bringing the food to you. Drei sat by your legs as you ate. After swallowing the last bite, you looked at your mom, who looked up at you.
"Is Something wrong honey?" You held up your hands.
Can I walk to school tomorrow?
Your mom smiled.
"Of course you can." You smiled at her. She gave you a bigger smile.
8 hours.... 10 hours....
You sat in your bed, in pajamas. You had trouble sleeping. It was peaceful, but your mind was going crazy. You looked around the room. You saw the music box Kawaii~Chan had given you.
You reached over and grabbed it, running your hand over the lid. Your dad had a laser in his office, so it's possible the music notes were made there. You reached for the switch, pressing it. The music started to play again. You placed it aside, and listened to the music. Your eyelids grew heavy....
"Hey Y/n!" You looked up from the wall you leaned against, at the front of the school. You were waiting for it to open when Aphmau greeted you. You waved as she jogged over.
"Where have you been?" You grabbed your notebook from your bag, writing.
Kawaii~Chan didn't tell you?
Aphmau shook her head.
"No, why? Did something happen?" You paused for a bit.
It's nothing. Don't worry about it.
Aphmau looked concerned.
"Okay? That's a bit suspicious." You shrugged.
Whatever you say.
You waited for school to open, Aphmau by your side. About five minutes before it opened, you sighted Kawaii~Chan running to you.
