«﹝FIND THE DEVIANT TRACI﹞»

After minutes of searching androids, Connor saw Ace scratching at the Staff Door. "Ace has something." The guys heard you come in, "Oh, there he is. Have you found it?" You asked, Connor glanced at the door, "Ace, seemed to picked up his track to the door." Connor enters first and began to reach for the door. "Wait! I'll take it from here." Hank slips his gun out from his holster and enters in first. You whistle and your dog began to sniff the concrete. You saw loads of androids were displayed and in perfect rows.

"Come out! The dog is a deviant tracker, it can smell fear." You called out, nothing responded which you didn't care. Your boots hit the hard floor, as you held your gun in hand. Ace stopped to scratch his neck but you continued on, searching. You heard growling then a yelp from Ace, you turned around and saw the android on Ace, trying to strangle him. "Get off of him!" You tugged the android off and she pinned you to the ground, throwing your gun out of your hand.

She began to throw punches but you punched her before she could. Hank was also getting jumped on by another one, Connor came into view when he pushed the on off of you and over the table. You noticed she grabbed a screw so you slid over the table and grabbed her. She dropped it and you stood up, kicking her in the stomach. Her back met the table and she walked over to you.

You turned to your right to see a shelf so you threw it down on the ground. She threw you outside, you stumbled onto the ground, groaning. Connor was then stumbled with the girl, Connor was on top of you, you pushed him off and looked up to see the two girls holding hands. "QUICK! THEY'RE GETTING AWAY!" Hank yelled, you stood up and helped Connor stop the two. The blue-haired shoved you into the wall, almost slamming your in head into it. You switched it ad shoved her but her partner came and pulled you off.

You winced, tripping the blue-haired Traci to the ground and the other one was gonna attack Conor who held a gun to her. He puts the gun down, and a foot met to his head. You stood up and stumbled behind Connor, the two girls stood there. "When that man the other Traci... I knew I was next... I was so scared..." Her LED was flashing yellow, you listened as you held your hip. "I begged him to stop but he wouldn't...And so I put my hands around his throat, and I squeezed... until he stopped moving. I didn't mean to kill him. I just wanted to stay alive... get back to the one I love."

The two held hands, the brown Traci was looking over to the blue Traci. "I wanted her to hold me in her arms again... make me forget about the humans... their smell of sweat and their dirty words." You didn't know if you wanted to arrest them or not. You didn't feel anything at the moment. "Come on, let's go." The brown-haired Traci says. They both climbed the fence and left the scene that easily. "It's probably better this way..." Hank says. Connor looked around to find Y/N but she wasn't there.

He saw her crouched down, the sounds of whimpers. "Is he okay?" Connor heard you say, Connor scanned him. "He was just startled, everything is okay." Connor replies. You sighed in response, petting Ace. "Maybe, he should just rest for a few days... Ugh, I need a drink." You muttered, getting up. Connor saw Ace and lightly picked him up. "You did a good job, Ace." Connor says, the dog sniffs his face and looks forward with his tongue sticking out.

Connor was sitting in the car of yours, Ace was outside with Y/N, sniffing the snow or trying to catch some flakes with his mouth. Hank was called into the department, so Connor thought he'd stay with you since you almost lost your dog. Connor stepped out and began to walk up to you who sat on the bench in a park. "Beautiful, isn't it? Used to come here a lot to laugh and be alone before..." You said, drinking the beer in your hand.

"Can I ask you a personal question, Y/N?"

"No." She grumbled, he insisted, "I saw a photo in your bedroom, it was a man next to you. You two seemed close."

Y/N     ︾

"It was your partner, right?" Connor asked, she never replied, but her hand tightened on the bottle almost as if she could break it. "He worked as an officer, right?" Connor asked, she never answered. "You two worked together as partners, before..." He stopped not wanting to push it any further. She wasn't in a good state right now. He thought to change the subject, walking forward, "We're not making any progress on this investigation... the deviants have nothing in common. They're all different models, produced at different times, in different places..."

"There's something that links." Y/N replied. "What they have in common is the obsession with rA9... It's almost like some kind of... myth. Something that they invented that wasn't part of their original program."

"Androids believing in God... What's this world coming to?"

"You seem preoccupied, Y/N... Is it Ace or something that happened at the Eden Club?" She takes another drink. "Those two girls... they were in love."

"They can simulate human emotions, but they're machines. And machines don't feel anything." She began to stand up. "What about you? You look human, you sound human. But what are you really?"

"I'm whatever you want me to be."

Y/N   ︽

"Your partner, your buddy to drink with. Or just a machine. Designed to accomplish a task." She leans a bit forward, "You could've shot those two girls but you didn't, why didn't you Connor? Some hacking broke into your program?"

"No... I just decided not to shoot. That's all."

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY   ︽

Y/N pulls out her gun and points it to his head, Ace noticed it and growled. "Heel, Ace." She muttered, "But are you afraid of dying, Connor?"

"I would certainly find it regrettable to be... interrupted..."

SOFTWARE INSTABILITY ︽

"Before I can finish this investigation." He says, she grips on her gun more. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I really am... I wish I could've felt how you feel now." She pierced her lips together. "What would happen if I pull the trigger, hm? Nothing? Oblivion? Android heaven?" Connor looked deep into her eyes.

"Nothing. There will be nothing." He says. Her hand was shaking and she finally puts her gun down.

Y/N   ︽      Neutral

"Where are you going?" Connor asked, "I'm going home." She mutters, walking away. Ace followed her behind, leaving Connor there in the snow.
