I stepped out of the subway train and saw Connor pull out a photo. "We follow these, we get to Jericho." Connor says. I nod, "Let's hope this gets Ace back." I said, following Connor. After minutes of following the graffiti, we met the large ship. "You can't go in there unnoticed." Connor says to me.
"I'll be fine, Connor. Go, I'll be behind you." We enter the boat, seeing many androids that were by fires and some watching the news. "We need to find the deviant leader." Connor says, I sighed looking around. "I'll meet you somewhere around this place, I'll be fine. Go." We went separate ways, I look over to Connor who was talking to a broken and damaged android and I bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry." The blonde girl looks at me, "It's okay." She had a jacket on, her hair was short and blonde. "Excuse me, please." I rushed passed to not get suspected as a human.
I entered a big room but no one was in there. I leaned over the railing to find no Connor anywhere. "Where the fuck are you now, Connor?" I left the room and climbed a ladder outside, seeing Connor leaned on the wall. He points, hearing some chattering come from the room. I joined him leaning on the wall.
"We need him alive." Connor says. At first, I thought about it, these are androids who don't want violence they want freedom and all they get is blood and bruises. I didn't say anything but Connor saw the girl leave. Connor's LED flashed yellow, reporting a message to CyberLife. I saw him go in, holding his gun in hand. "I've been ordered to take you alive." Connor says, the leader, Markus turns around.
"What are you doing? You're one of us, you can't betray your own people."
"You're coming with me." Connor looked to his side to see Y/N nowhere in sight. "We are your people, we're fighting for your freedom, too." He doesn't reply to him.
"You're Connor, aren't you? That famous deviant hunter... well, congratulations... you seemed to have found what you're looking for."
"Stay back or I'll shoot." Connor says. "No... Connor." Connor shoots his head towards you who had a gun in hand. "I don't want to do this, Connor. Please don't make me."
"A human?" Markus asked. Your eyes shot at Markus, "How did you get in?"
"That's not your concern, I'm now on your side- Connor put your gun down, what you're doing is just CyberLife controlling you."
"Have you ever had any doubts? You haven't done anything irrational? As if there's something inside you?" You had tears spilling from your eyes, "Connor..." You let out. He turns to you, "Please." You said.
"It's time to decide who you really are, Connor. Don't be controlled by humans, control yourself. It's time to ask yourself that question."
After minutes, Connor drops his gun to his side, finally breathing. He knew Amanda was betrayed, his slowly lifts his head up. "They're going to attack Jericho."
"What?" Markus asked, a bullet shot through the window and Y/N fell to the ground. "Fuck!" She yells, "Y/N!" Connor runs to her side, seeing the wound on her shoulder. "I'm fine, just a bullet, right?" She gasped when Connor puts pressure on it. "Let me carry you."
"No, I'm not that wounded. Just help me up." There were sounds of helicopter and shuttles flying over the ship. Connor puts my arm over his back as he helps me. "Connor?.."
"Yes?" He asked, she looked into his eyes wanting to say something, "N-Nothing, just get us out of here." She says, he followed Markus into a hall. "Markus!" A girl called, "North!" He called back. "Where's Josh?"
"We got separated." North says, "We need to get everyone out." North says, waiting for Markus' command.
"We need to blow up Jericho. Our people can find exits and we can all escape." Markus says, "You'll never make it! The explosives are not close to where we are, there are soldiers everywhere." She said.
"She's right. They who you are, they'll do anything to get rid of you."
"Go help the others, Connor take Y/N and yourself somewhere we can meet. I'll be back." North sighs, "Markus!--"
"I won't be long!" Markus says, running off. "Ah, Connor, I-I can't..." Connor looks at Y/N, "Stay with me, okay?" He dips down and picks her up bridal style. "Keep your eyes open, here hold this." Connor hands her his gun, "Shoot anyone that's anywhere." She throws her head back in pain. "Fuck." She groans, she pulls out the gun and cocks it. After minutes of shooting officers and running down halls we met up with Markus. We all began to run till North was shot down. "North!" Markus runs over and picks her up, using a metal plate. "Connor, you got to help." You groaned, "I--"
"Put me the fuck down and help them!" You shout, he puts you down and runs over, shooting at the officers and killing all of them. You stood up and ran with Connor, he unexpectedly held your hand once you both reached the edge and jumped off. The ship explodes right after they all landed in the water.
Connor pulls you out, coughing the water that entered your lungs. You winced when you stood up. You look up to Connor who gave you a small smile, you finally for the first time returned one to him. "That's the first time I've seen you smile." He said.
"What? Is it ugly?" You asked jokingly, he smiled, pulling your arm over his back as he carried you.
