Chapter 6: BUSTED!
"Uh, uhhhhhhh" Flint stuttered
"I thought so." McGonagall replied firmly "Miss Black, are you alright?" She asked, turning to me. I saw a strange amount of concern in her eyes.
"Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking." I replied, unsure of my own words. I turned to see that I was face to face to face to face with my best friends Fred, George, and Lee. "Hey guys." I said casually
"What the bloody hell was that?" The twins asked as we followed McGonagall up the winding staircases to the Great Hall where we would be sorted.
"What do you mean?"
"You knocked Marcus Flint's teeth out of place!" The boys gasped out
"I did? Hmm I didn't even notice." I replied sarcastically. We were too busy gawking at the new sights, sounds, and people, or wait were they ghosts? Anyways. We didn't say a word to each other for the rest of the walk, and if we did it was something 'like look at that!', or 'that's awesome!' Before we knew it we were outside of the Great Hall. I turned to look at my best friends, or as I called them my brothers, we were all way too close already, and I am fairly certain that they would call me their sister.
"Hey, guys I have to ask you something." I said as I turned to them "Promise me that no matter what house that we are sorted into, we'll still be friends?" I asked.
They hugged me and said "We'll always be friends" In unison. It was a little creepy, but it was funny.
We entered the Great Hall and prepared to be sorted into our houses. I could tell that all of the first years were freaking out, and to be honest, so was I.
What if I didn't fit in anywhere? What if the four of us stopped being friends because we were put in different houses? What if I ended up in Slytherin? I knew I would die if I ended up in Slytherin...
I am sorry that this was so short, I promise to post a long chappie soon. On the bright side I have Friday off of school, so I can work on it then...
