Posted on the front of the field house's pristine, glass doors, was the list. I clutched tightly to Asher's arm as we approached the door. Coach was at the front of the herd, handing out jackets and taking questions. She smiled when I came up to her.

"Emerson, you have so much work to do." she said.

A shiver went through my body and I looked at the roster for next year.

Listed on it was my name, my informal name.

Life can be so many things, but what I relate it to, is a story. You can't go back to change things once they're done, but you can change things in the midst of their actions. That's what happened to me. And I hope that will happen to you. Because some things aren't automatically realized; you have to look deeper into the picture and find what was really meant for you. You have to find something or someone that you're passionate about, and never let go.

And you can never, ever let anyone get in the way.

Only you can change your story.

Mine? I'm happy with where it's at.

THE END

=================================

So here we are, we finally made it. I decided to have a writing spree so sorry for the flurry of updates on your feed and the very short ending chapters. As per usual, I'd like to thank anyone and everyone who read this story. It honestly started out as a personal project and I posted it on here to keep things organized. No matter how many likes or reads or whatever this story gets, I'm really relieved and glad to have completed it.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.

I've been going between a few new ideas for my next story and have chosen one that you'll either be really happy about or really disappointed. It's a sequel to this story called "Varsity Girl AKA The Prep". This story will be more mature and detailed as I've grown so much over the course of VBATP. I'll post the blurb and actual book today so you can get a little preview of what's to come. Sorry if you were expecting a huge change. I just wasn't ready to leave these characters. They have a whole other year left at Towerpointe.

Love, peace, forever grateful.
