Chapter 2:It's Hero Time

Ben was laying on his bed looking up at the ceiling thinking of what just happen during dinner time.

"Hey, Ben," Gwen said he looked her way. "What's up with that watch of yours?" She pointed out everyone stared at him.

"Oh, this," He said nervously showing them the Omnitrix. "It's just a plain watch that I got from the package. That's all." He sweatdropped not knowing what to tell them.

"You sure?" Carl asked.

"Yeah, Dad I'm sure" he replied quickly not thinking at all. "Well, I better get to bed. Thanks for the food, Mom." He stood up and walked to his room.

'How am I suppose to tell them that this watch can turn me into an alien and that there maybe other aliens looking for this' He thought turning to his side looking at his clock stand. There was a knock on the door.

"Come in its open," He said and the person who opened the door was Gwen with his hoodie in her arms.

"Hey," She said softly. "Canto give this back." She entered leaving the door halfway opened showing him his hoodie. He looked up and pointed to a hanger.

"Just put it there," He said plainly. She did just that and stood in front of him. She looked at her cousin and saw that he was thinking of something or trying to solve a problem which was impossible for him to decide.

Gwen let out a sigh looking at her feet and said: "You know you can always talk to me." She knows looked up to him and he did the same but was sitting.

"You alright?" She asked him playing with her hair.

"I'm fine," he said bluntly looking at the ceiling. There was a moment of silence between them.

'What should I do to help?' She asked herself.

Gwen let out a sigh looking at her feet and said: "You know you could talk to me If something is bothering you." She felt embarrassed saying that. She looked up to him and he did the same but was sitting.

"I know" he replied smiling at his worried cousin. "But I can figure it out myself." When he said that she cracked a smile.

"Yeah you can," she said still smiling.

"You better get some rest cause tomorrow is your first day at school," he said smirking at her. She nodded going out the door but stopped and looked at him.

"Goodnight, Ben," she said closing the door.

"Goodnight, Gwen" He then lay on his side and closed his eyes falling asleep.

The next day rolled around. Ben and Gwen were standing in front of the school gate waving goodbye to Carl as he was late for work.

"So..." Ben started. "You ready?"

"I-I better be" She replied nervously while her hand was shaking. She was ready to go to college but got rejected and now she was standing in front of a hight school. She was wearing a white shirt under a dark blue sweater, black stockings under a black mini skirt and black high heels. Her hair tied in a ponytail. Ben wears a black shirt under his hoodie covering the watch, brown cargo pants with pockets at the knees and white shoes.

Both of them started walking towards the school. They entered the class with Ben taking his seat at the back close to the window while Gwen was talking to the teacher.

"Class, can I have your attention please?" He asked and everyone was quite taking their seats.

"We have a new student in our class. Please introduced yourself miss" He said and Gwen stepped forward and all the guys were staring at her.
