"I can see that you're practically BEGGING for the answers to your questions, so spill" Maria smirked as she lead Marcus towards a vacant mat.
Combat definitely wasn't one of Marcus' specialties though he did know a thing or two.
Maria brought him into her, twisting his arm as if to injure him before throwing him towards the ground with an almighty clatter. The rest of the student didn't seem fazed by the collision noise but it made Marcus jerk.
"So if there's a hierarchy here why the fuck would anyone want to join? They're going to be low levels their whole damn lives"
Maria giggled and flipped the boy over on the mat she was amused by his question nevertheless. Though truthfully she held no answer to it and so instead she passed it off with a lick of sarcasm,
"Why would anyone want to join a school where they can kill people with no penalty? Craziness"
Marcus had caught onto her sarcasm quite early on in her sentence and he liked it, so instead of arguing with her about her remark, he flashed her a grin.
"You're cute" she stated with a bat of her eyelashes. Marcus felt his cheeks heat so he ducked away from her and brushed himself off as the teacher called dismissal.

Sephy had started to get bored with the class she was sat in, it was like the teacher was only teaching the rats.
She yawned obnoxiously and the teacher's head snapped around to her with furrowed eyebrows.
"Am I boring you, Ms Gray?"
Sephy cackled and the rest of the class turned to watch her in terror. Including Marcus who had only just realised that the girl who had saved him back on the first day was in his poison class.
"Yes? I thought that was obvious from the fucking yawn" she dared leaning forward on her desk with a deep glare. The teacher gulped and returned back to his lesson.
"Is everyone scared of her?" Marcus had risked to hiss towards Billy who had gulped down just at the thought.
"Dude-" he breathed as he glanced towards Sephy who was studying her nails "-even her name means murder"
Marcus assessed the girl with a smirk and Billy was first to notice this
"No dude no, you do not fall for the goddess of the underworld"
