Petra sent Sephy a reassuring nod before she and Billy tiptoed round the side of the house to the backyard, they had practiced how to step over the minefield of bombs but Sephy was still nervous that it wasn't about to go right.

The plan had already set into action before Sephy could even process what was going on. Saya had convinced her to part from the original plan and to follow her onto the second floor instead of staying with Marcus.

The girls left both Lex and Marcus alone but not without a soft worried stare between the pair. Sephy didn't want to believe it but it could be the last time she could lay eyes on Marcus- alive.

Each group held a walky-talky that crackled but yet still successfully worked. The explosion of the front door made every member of the group flinch.

Once Saya had pulled herself up the rope she had hooked onto the second floor she proceeded to lend a hand to Sephy who happily took it when they got to the top. She passed Sephy a large kitchen knife that made her scoff.

Maria, although was supposed to be with the girls, hadn't followed them up onto the second floor but both of them were too occupied with scanning the room before them.

Once realising all was empty, Sephy lowered her knife and took a deep breath trying regain her calmness by talking to Saya as if they were just walking the halls of Kings again.

"What's with you and Maria then?" She asked as Saya still held the sword across her body to shield her from any danger. She scoffed at the inconvenient timing but proceeded to explain,

"Let's just say that she isn't the most accepting person I've ever met" Saya said through gritted teeth and Sephy let go of a low growl.

"I'll kill her" she mumbled under her breath. She didn't know what she was missing out on, and she was sure that she must've snapped pretty hard for Saya to be in such a bad mood.

"Now can we focus before you get us both killed"

"Yes sir" Sephy giggled sarcastically as she scanned the next room, her eyes being drawn towards a table in the far right.

Upon the table was an ash tray and the girl stepped up towards it, just to fully inspect the way that one cigarette still bellowed out smoke as if it had just been newly stubbed.

"Fuck" Sephy cursed as realisation struck her.

There was a loud screech and from hidden somewhere in a closet a hillbilly lunged towards Sephy. She had matted hair and yellow teeth and kept chanting to herself and she gripped what looked like a knife.

Saya tried to push her off of Sephy but her thrashing caused her sword so clink against the wall and leave her empty handed. She cursed out loud and instead threw her foot to collide with the woman's back.

Sephy still couldn't feel herself blacking out, in fact she felt completely calm for some reason, she watched with ease as the hillbilly leant over her body and with one swing she smashed her in the jaw.

The hillbilly let out a loud yelp and held onto her jaw as a trickle of blood dropped from her lip. The hit had only angered her and when she lunged towards Saya she was much more violent.
