╚═════ஓ๑+๑ஓ═════╝Sephy had completely forgotten that there was even a dance occurring until Maria had asked the girl what she was planning on wearing.
The girls wanted her to join them while getting dressed, but she refused strongly. She didn't know when they thought that they were even allowed to speak to her never mind ask her to hang.
"Just so you know the real party is upstairs" Billy smiled towards Petra who happened to be stood behind Sephy.
"Nuh uh, the party's downstairs" Petra said shaking her head. Sephy found herself physically between their conversation. She watched as Marcus hung his arm around Billy.
"The party's ALWAYS down stairs" Sephy smirked knocking her head back as she sipped from her hip flask. She turned towards the dance and Petra ran to catch up with her.
"Why are you here?" Petra asked as she scowled looking at the cringe situation in front of both of them. Sephy shook her head honestly having no idea what she was doing.
"The same reason as you" she stated smoothing down her waist before looking at the anxious girl.
"To prove a point?" She asked finally spotting Viktor.
"Something like that"

Sephy didn't want get into that much trouble, she was too tired to start stuff with the posh kids so she sat on a corner table drinking alcohol from her flask.
Out of all the people in the hall, Petra was the only person she actually liked. She was different which she liked and not to mention that her mind was always on the ball. Plus she was always respectful of Sephy, she thought they could potentially be friends.
Petra disappeared from Sephy's view and although she didn't seem to be in danger she was a little skeptical of where she had gone. She decided it'd be best to have a look around for her.
The corridors was bare and no one seemed to be around so Sephy headed towards the toilets. As she was about to enter three girls barged past her and knocked her backwards.
Sephy was too tipsy to flip out at those who had barged past her, one of them wearing an obnoxious yellow dress. She pushed into the toilet and was faced with Brandy and a few of her girls.
"You came to save the day?" Brandy asked in her thick accent looking across at Sephy. She still had a few cuts and bruises from when she had lashed out at her on the graveyard, not that Sephy remembered it.
She looked around confused. Who was she supposed to be saving?
Brandy scoffed and smashed into her shoulder as she walked round her frame, the other girls however didn't follow.
Suddenly there was a tap of a microphone and the girls smirked towards Sephy as if to tell her that she was too late.
"Listen up everybody." Brandy ordered as the dj cut off the music. "Y'all might know her as the dark cloud that haunts the halls of King's, but tonight thanks to the lovely ladies of the Cheer Death Squad, she's gone from wasteoid to passable."
Sephy frantically looked from the door where the muffled sound was emanating from, towards the girls who were all sniggering and holding their laughs in with their mouths.
"Please put your hands together for the belle of the ball, the new and improved Miss Rat 1987."
Sephy gritted her teeth and stepped forward to the girls, she had began to shake and with no one there to calm her down she was most likely about to black out.
"Tell me that's not Petra or you're all dead" she spat and the girls pursed their lips instantly.
Then it finally clicked in her head, the girl they were escorting out of the bathroom in the yellow dress was Petra and there they were humiliating her in front of everyone.
The girls watched as Sephy raged, some of them gripping onto others as safety and protection. One of them wailed loudly which caught the attention of the monks.
Sephy had blacked out seconds after the girls had fled, they'd told the monks that she'd hurt them even though she hadn't touched them.
Whilst the girl was blacked out the monks brought down their canes down upon her unconscious body, cutting and bruising her milky skin.
Whilst they were occupied inside the toilets, chaos had struck inside the dance hall. Marcus and his friends had unleaded their inner fury of revenge for Petra.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Mellow Yellow!" Lex shouted as he brought his blowgun to his lips and shot a dart towards whoever he could find. Each target fell to the floor, writhing and screeching for the hallucinations to stop.
Master Lin was first to halt the fighting, specifically between Chico and Willie which had broken out after he'd stuck up for Marcus. His cane came into contact with the floor and as he smashed it down he bellowed,
"This dance is over. Everybody return to their rooms"
He scanned the hall as the students retreated confused as to where the monks in charge had disappeared to. Then his eyes flickered over the toilet door, slightly open.
"What's going on" He asked slamming the door open and slapping his cane upon one of the monks backs, the monk winced and shot up along with the others.
Master Lin was then able to see as Persephone Gray laid lifeless upon the cold floor, her face beat and bleeding.
He ordered for them to leave before crouching down to check the girls pulse which was still there. His cold fingers must've stirred her because her swollen eyelids flickered open.
"This will get sorted, Gray" Master Lin promised touching her forehead as she winced.
He knew the monks hated the girl for being strong and almost unstoppable, so if they had the chance for her to be vulnerable he knew they'd snatch up the chance.
"Not if I sort it first" she spat wiping the blood from her nose with the back of her hand.
"No" he scalded placing a hand on her shoulder "I'll make sure they pay. As for you," he sighed and watched as Sephy leant herself up on her elbows "you'll be going into detention for the week as a REST"
Sephy scoffed as Master Lin left the toilets, everywhere on her body ached.
