╚═════ஓ๑+๑ஓ═════╝"Why do we need anyone else?" Marcus asked as he aimlessly dangled his legs off of the bench he was sat on.
"Because, Superman, we need help to do shit RIGHT. You want to kill him?" Sephy asked crossing her arms across her chest and he simply nodded back "well then shut up"
Marcus rolled his eyes taking his gaze back to the notepad he was scribbling in, Sephy had refused to ask what he was doing so that she didn't pry into his personal business.
Saya had broken the most dangerous teacher out of his jail cell just as Sephy had ordered. Slasher, who was then freed from his shackles and wheelchair, seemed overly eager to see the mouthy girl again.
"What the fuck are we doing?" Saya shouted as she appeared through the door, a tight grip on Slasher's bicep, not that he was wanting to shoot away.
"Yeah what the fuck is HE doing?" Marcus shot across at Sephy who smirked in the direction of the murderer who was now free.
"No one knows a psycho quite like a serial killer" Sephy said flashing a cocky look to Marcus.
She knew she was a genius, she didnt need either of them to complement her.
Saya lead them towards the exit room a door that lead to many other doors, to their surprise Billy was already sat there, his head in his hands.
Marcus looked confused and the girls almost forgot that he was new here, Saya explained the principle of the room as Sephy held the door open as requested by Billy.
"Whats me holding the door leading back to the school going to help with?" Sephy asked the boy with the maw-hawk.
He gulped down and looked behind her wanting to be out of the hellish puzzle room. He was going to make a run for it so Sephy let go of the door and shrugged,
"whoops, guess you're with us"
Marcus pulled Billy back with his shirt and he sprang back to where his face came centimetres away from Slasher, his breathing completely stopping.
"um guys do you know who you have here?" He innocently asked turning to Marcus who glared at Sephy as if to tell her to explain why they were actually helping a serial killer out into the open.
She raised an eyebrow and cocked her head towards Billy.
"Supermans gonna explain"
"Will you stop calling me that" he shot towards her with an eye-roll, she scoffed and turned to Saya as she studied the puzzle's clue and assessed each door with a squint.
Sephy swung an arm around the girl getting her full attention, she had returned back to wearing long sleeves to cover her scratches and luckily no one cared about her enough to ask why she reverted to her old style.
"And why is a strong-headed, independent woman helping out the rat?" Sephy questioned Saya as she looked towards Marcus who seemed to be in a heated conversation with the other males in the room.
Saya bit her lip and flickered her eyes away from the rats.
"Oh Saya please tell me youre not a fool for the rats charm?"
Speaking about him so cold-heartedly made her feel uncomfortable and like her body felt wrong but if she was survive she needed to show that she felt nothing for the soft curly haired boy, even if that meant lying to herself.
"Maria's going to flip when she realises that he told both of us and not her" She answered although it wasnt what Sephy was expecting.
Sephy reached out to skim her hand over the statue in the centre of the room but Saya slapped her away with a hiss.
"So you decided to come to piss her off? Isn't she your bestie?" Sephy asked rubbing the back of her hand as it started to sting, Saya's face started to turn a little red so she gasped and ended with a laugh "you want to split them dont you?"
Sephy danced around on the spot once Saya turned a deeper red as if she definitely knew that she had guesed right.
Sephy bowed towards her like a queen and the boys scowled their direction but returned to their dicussion.
"I feel intruged, tell me more about your INFATUATION with Marcus. A great book concept dont you think? Love triangle's are a huge hit on the big screen"
The sarcasm rolled off her tongue so naturally that it had almost convinced her herself that she was speaking the truth.
Saya scoffed and mumbled,
"Yeah... marcus"
The realisation was slow and crept up onto Sephy like a cheetah until it pounced and she finally understood, she gasped exaggeratedly and then clamped her hand over her mouth
"The korean princess loves the latina?" she asked with a smile, making Saya look down anxiously towards her intertwined fingers "Don't be shy. Love is love"
As Sephy said this Saya looked up with a sigh of relief only to watch as Sephys elbow nudged the statue to the side causing her to topple backwards and a door to open.
"Lions starved for months are dead" Saya thought aloud her face lightening as she patted Sephy's shoulder as a well done.
Sephy looked towards Marcus who was trying to hold back a laugh.
"I knew that" she muttered to herself following them out of the puzzle room and into the open.
