It's been four years since the stalemate between the clashing worlds. We are looking into the town of Franklin. A small town that once had a large population of Eon. After "The Lift", the name many gave to the release of the Eon from the united army. This town accepted their returning veterans, regardless of race, with open arms. Like I mentioned before, they were a part of the few that were grateful for the sacrifice of the soldiers of the now eleven-year war. To set the scene, the sun is setting on a group of friends. They can be seen discussing some recent events at the fountain in the center of the town. Each of them posed in varied positions.

The group consists of three boys and two girls. One of the boys, Riku, speaks out. "I heard the owner of the corner store got robbed again," he mentions with a grin. "Rumor has it, the culprit was a young Eon." Riku is eighteen and the younger brother of Reno, who is twenty-one and the eldest of this group. The brothers' skin tones are brown with jet black hair. The younger has a low cut with designs cut into the left side. In contrast, the older has kempt dreadlocks that reach his shoulders. Riku is rarely seen without his trademark beanie as Reno is rarely seen without his glasses. They are all currently dressed in their school uniforms. Their school's dress code is a white or yellow dress shirt, a dark green sweater vest on top, and khaki bottoms. "Do you guys know who could've done it?" he asks while looking towards the direction of the corner store.

One of the girls rises from her seat on the nearby bench. She says, "Could've been you. You're always up to no good."

Riku replies, "Me? How could you say that, Hailey? I would never..." He turns around to face his friends and continues his plea. "I'm a prankster, not a thief." Hailey is a pale skinned blond beauty that is the crush of many of the boys in town.

The youngest of the group at the age of seventeen, Darren, speaks up from his seated position on the ground. He starts firing question out like an automatic weapon. "What did he take? Did he use his powers? Was it someone from class? Wha-"

Reno interrupts, "Calm down, Darren." He is standing in the middle of the group with his arms folded. He looks at Darren and says, "It was a simple robbery. He only got away with 150 gems." Gem is this world's currency. It's not an actual gem but the bills are made of them. Each color has a different value. "It happened during class a couple of days ago."

Darren questions Reno with a little suspicion in his voice. "How do you know so much, Reno? Maybe it was you!"

Reno looks at him disdainfully and says, "I work there, dimwit."

"Hey! C'mon now, Reno!" Tasha intercedes. "Don't be so mean to him. He's just curious." She is seated at the edge of the fountain, reading a book. Tasha is one year younger than Reno and shares a similar hairstyle. She also has dreadlocks but they are dark brown with blond tips. Her sides are cut low with a symmetrical design on each side.

"Sorry..." The apology seems insincere. He let's silence settle for a bit before speaking up again. "If you guys want some more juicy news, Mr. Toga has a test for us tomorrow," Reno informs the group about their teacher's idea.

"What makes that juicy?" Riku questions his brother. "Tomorrow is Tanzanite. We always test on Tanzanite."

Ok, I'll pause it right here... I need to explain to you what he meant by that. Riku is referring to our day cycle. I'll take it from the top. In one year, our world experiences four seasons: Blight, Blossom, Tinder, and Wither. Blossom is the season that brings forth a new harvest. Tinder is our hottest season that brings forth the slow growth of fungi as the sweat settles which leads to Blight. Plants begin to weaken and die and the fungi prosper. Then Wither hits and eliminates the fungi and remaining plants with its icy winds. Each season has ten weeks where the middle weeks are the most intense for their conditions. Each week has nine days. So nine times ten, times four gives you 360. A perfect circle, right? Our days are represented by stones in the following order:
