A lot of bravery and heart went into that last fight. The young rebels potentially have bitten off more than they could chew, in my opinion. Luckily for them, the forces that are normally at work there are dealing with a meeting they are unaware of. I've said too much but that's not important for now...

Their entrance into the cells of the barracks was a little rocky. To prevent the other potential officers from entering behind them, Naru uses a nearby potted plant to weave its vines and branches under the door to hold the handles in place. It tightly winds itself multiple times to form a thick barrier around the keyhole as well. They sit Shina down in a lounging area just before the large glass wall that blocks them from the captive Eons on the other side. Reno disarms and throws the officer that they brought in to the floor. He walks up to the glass.

Behind it is an artificial slum village. The people living in the man-made environment are wearing ragged clothing. Some lay about in the 'street' while others lounge in window seals or the few benches scattered about the scene. A few catch sight of Reno and the others. Their eyes still glowing with their dormant powers. Reno catches glimpses of a few of the seals on their bodies.

A large light beams down upon the captives. It's a lamp to mimic sunlight. One of the prisoners walks towards Reno. He leans up to the glass and looks the young adult over. "You're not one of them..." he says. His voice is muffled but still clear. "What are you doing here, boy? You on a field trip or something?" His comments perk the interest of a few more Eons. They join their conversation at the glass.

"We're here to break you all out," Reno says. "Where's the door?" The first to approach raises an eyebrow at him. He looks to the right of Reno and nods to a control room.

"Over there is the control that opens the door," he says.

Another puts her face to the glass, "Ay! You brought food?" Her eyes are wide and bloodshot. The pupil in one eye has grayed over as if she's lost sight in it. The scar near her eye suggests that it may have been from abuse. Reno shakes his head slowly. The Eon angrily punches the glass. She walks away slowly after her fit. Reno turns and kneels down to the officer.

He pulls out the keycard and waves it at the cop. "You're going to show me how to open this evil compartment of yours, okay?" His eyes spark light blue then go dull. The target of his intimidation nods aggressively, not wanting to deal with the power of an Eon. Reno helps him up and disappears with him into the small control room.

Shina leans across the table to avoid putting pressure on her wound. Blood leaks slowly from the bullet hole. "Is there anything we can do to get the bullet out?" Lucas asks.

"No... None of you are surgeons and I don't want to be your first patient," Shina says. "As I said before, I'll be fine. I wouldn't have taken the shot if I didn't think I couldn't handle it."

"I could try to shoot a pulse through your stomach to pop it out of your back," Riku offers.

Shina holds back a laugh and shakes her head. "And shoot my kidneys out of my back? No thanks, Riku..."

He shrugs with a smile, "I'm just grateful for you." She nods and lowers her head to rest in her arms. Her eyes lower slightly, showing a little weakness in them. Riku walks behind her and massages her neck and shoulders. "Hang tight... We'll get you some help." As he finishes his sentence, the wall of glass slices down the middle as pistons compress. The sides split slowly, expelling white smoke from its base. The Eon that was patiently waiting on the other side stands in place. Reno steps out of the control room with the officer.

He walks up to the Eon and extends his hand. The larger man looks down on him for a moment. He smirks and snatches Reno's hand for a shake. "Sol" he introduces himself. After pointing to the door behind Reno, he asks, "I'm guessing there's a shitload of pigs on the other side of that door, right?"
