Pidge quickly raised her empty hands, while Hunk was behind her shrieking "I knew this was a bad idea please don't kill us I still have so much to bake!" Thankfully, his Ravenclaw friend was a bit more composed.

"Woah, we're unarmed! We mean you no harm! We're students here."

She looked at the sword, and then the man holding it. The weapon was sharp, it looked a bit old-fashioned but was very clearly quite real. The man was a redhead with a well-cultivated mustache and a stylish (if out of fashion) blue, white, and gold outfit. When he saw that the intruders were two children, he lowered the sword.

"Coran!" A shout came at the man from behind, and Pidge saw a woman sitting at a small desk further back in the room. "This is why I tell you not to draw a sword on anyone who opens the door!"

The man (whose name was Coran, apparently) looked sheepish and stepped back.

"My apologies, princess. But in my defense, it could have been some ruffians trying to attack us, and then I would have had the upper hand! Your father put your safety in my hands, and I take that job very seriously."

Hunk, by this point, had stopped shrieking.

"Wait, princess? Who are you two? Why are you at Hogwarts? What is going on?"

The woman stood up and strode forwards. Hunk stepped back automatically.

"We might ask the same of you boys."

"We," Pidge cut in, stepping protectively in between Hunk and this woman, "were investigating a completely normal secret passageway. You two should really make the password more obscure if you don't want this place found."

The woman was quite tall, with brown skin and long, white hair. She wore an outfit of a similar style to Coran's, except in dress form and with some pink. Upon inspecting her face, Pidge noticed that both the woman and Coran had marks under their eyes, the woman's in pink and Coran's in blue. The woman scowled.

"It has functioned perfectly well for- I don't answer to you, you're children. I have told Albus that he mustn't allow all of you to wander about so much, but-"

Hunk stepped from behind Pidge and walked into the room.

"You and Headmaster Dumbledore are on a first-name basis, huh? So he knows you're here. I can tell from your accents that you aren't from around here, and from your clothes that you don't get out much. So what are you doing at Hogwarts? I assume it's important, maybe for safety reasons? Does this have to do with the Sorting Hat's prophecy thing?"

The woman's eyebrows crept further up her forehead as he spoke, and she had to blink a couple times, stunned, before responding.

"You were the boy that was just shrieking, yes? And now you're making deductions? Fine. Yes, we are from quite far away, and yes, we're here for safety. My father thought it best we stay here under Albus Dumbledore's protection. And I am not sure of what you speak, in the terms of this 'prophecy.'"

Pidge cut in.

"Before we were sorted, the Hat spouted poetry. Apparently this is normal, but this year it was a set of haikus that may have something to do with Voltron. Does that name sound familiar?"

Both of the adults' eyes widened simultaneously. Coran closed the door at a gesture from the princess.

"What do you two know about Voltron?"

Lance stepped into the room with a look of curiosity on his face. He was met by the man from the Great Hall, who said something along these lines:
