Ochako felt guilty while grabbing a few DVDs out of one of the boxes that she had yet to unpack. The sparring had been so much fun and had gotten her endorphins pumping. Badgering Bakugo into making food for them had seemed like the thing to do, but as he showered, her adrenaline went down and she was left feeling jittery and a bit at loose ends. Thursdays had always been movie night before. Things had changed so much in the last few weeks, she hadn't thought that that break in routine would hurt so much.

She dithered for a moment over which movies to choose. There was the series about vampires and werewolves that was almost—almost—too ridiculous for even her, and she kind of wanted to see the masculine Bakugo struggle through the ridiculousness of that story. She also thought that was a little unfair. She was already putting him out quite a bit—he had obviously thought he would be done with her once he cooked the food, and now she was claiming the rest of his afternoon with movies. Perhaps it wouldn't be fair to subject him to awful teen romance and angst at the same time.

She picked up a different set of movies. She had a weird love/hate relationship with scary movies. She loved the ghost story aspect of them, but at the same time, they were so scary! She could never watch them by herself, but she always felt a little disappointed that she couldn't experience the story. If she remembered correctly, Bakugo liked horror movies. She didn't think these technically qualified as horror, but they were scary enough, hopefully he would enjoy them. And hopefully having him in the room was enough to keep them from being too scary.

When Ochako returned to his living area, their food was on the coffee table in front of the couch, and it looked like Bakugo had grab multiple beers. "I didn't think we had that many left," she said eyeing the multiple bottles. It wasn't even 5 o'clock yet!

Twisting a cap off Bakugo grunted, "Apparently that red headed bastard brought another six pack when he came this morning." He took a swig. "I figured I would need it to get through whatever girly movie you picked out."

Ochako kind of regretted leaving the teen angst in her room now, but his pleasant surprise when she fanned the trilogy she had picked instead out in front of her made her glad with her choice. She handed him the first in the series and let him set up the equipment. She snuggled into the couch with her legs tucked beneath her and grabbed her bowl of curry. It smelled delicious. Watching Bakugo fiddle with the DVD player, she also grabbed a beer. She suddenly felt a little awkward being alone in the building with him. Still feeling a little jittery she decided that drinking a beer wasn't too bad. She just needed to mellow out a little bit.

She had been wrong. It was still too scary. Ghosts were scary, possessions were scary, everything about it was too scary. About half an hour into the first movie Bakugo had thrown her a blanket, and now two movies in, Ochako had completely wrapped herself in it and was cowering. She took a sip of her beer. It was just her second one, but the movie was so scary! She couldn't mellow out. It didn't help that the sun had started to set and neither of them had turned on the lights. The room was full of shadows and dim light, and the only sounds were from the tv, where the main characters were sneaking through a haunted hospital, looking for their friend who had gone missing. It was the music that made it so bad, she thought. Ochako was sure if she watched the movie on mute with captions it would have been ok.
