Hello! This chapter is on the shorter side (sorry!) but it is also on the spicier side (sorry?). I felt out blonde boy deserved it lol. We'll be back to our PG programming next time. Hope you enjoy.

"I'm saying that I'm already emotionally invested."
As the words dropped into the conversation, everything seemed to stop. Anxiety hit Katsuki like a train; he had just initiated the very conversation he had been trying to avoid with everyone. Fuck. He opened his mouth to say something—anything really—but shut it again when he saw the expression on Ochako's face.
Her large, brown eyes seemed to be searching his face for something, and Katsuki figured it would be best to remain silent until she found whatever it was that she was looking for. He found himself second guessing this wisdom when Ochako suddenly seemed to deflate, as if everything he had seen these past few weeks was armor she had to build up, and now she was stripped bare. She looked about as vulnerable as he felt.
Katsuki sighed, "I'm sorry. It's not fair to make you deal with this after the past few days you've had. I shouldn't have—"
"Did you not mean it?" she asked sharply, cutting him off.
"Of course I meant it!" he answered immediately, doing the best to resist the specter of his past trauma. Ochako was no Delphine. What happened with Delphine would never happen with Ochako. He knew it wouldn't. It couldn't.
She blinked at the certainty in his voice and then jumped to her feet. She looked like a startled animal, frozen trying to decide if it was better to run or fight. As Katsuki scrambled to his feet saw her make the decision: flight was her best option. He panicked; she was so close to the edge, it would only take the smallest push to send her over the precipice and into him, but not if he gave her time for own anxiety and insecurity to pull her away from that edge. If he had to reach out and pull her down, he would.
Katsuki leapt the box of kittens and made it to the door at the same time as Ochako, his arm shot out holding the door shut. "Don't run away from me," he said softly, hoping to calm her. Unfortunately, it seemed to have the opposite effect as she spun around. Her breath came quicker and her eyes darted to the side, looking for an escape. He brought his other arm up, caging her against the door. It was an illusion of course, she wasn't truly caged, she had already proved that she was more than capable at using her quirk to maneuver either herself or him. When he leaned closer she put both hands against his chest—he was sure he would be flying any moment.
But nothing happened. He stopped moving forward, momentarily respecting the boundary placed by the light pressure of her hands against his chest. It was hard, even that light touch brough all the need and want he had been denying the past weeks to just under the skin. "Ochako, I want you," his voice came out raspier than he had intended. "If you don't want that, you're going to have to push me away."
"I am," she said breathlessly, staring at her hands splayed against his chest.
Katsuki leaned forward against that slight pressure so he could whisper in her ear. "Harder."
He turned his head slightly so he could glance back at her face, and those brown doe eyes had gone molten as they stared into his own. The hands on his shirt bunched into fists, and grabbing his shirt she yanked him towards her. As her mouth sought his, Katsuki thought he would gladly tumble off this cliff with her.
Ochako pulled him towards her until their bodies were flush and he could feel the heat of her down the entire length of him. Her kiss was demanding, so he was surprised when she was the one to break it. "You're too tall," she grumbled.
