《Narrator's Point of View》

"Everyone, I have some news to tell you." Bruce said to Alfred, and his sons. "This is (Y/n), and he will live with is for now on?" Bruce put his hand in the little boy's shoulders, and everybody looked at him.

He stood quiet, looking at the floor last if it was the most interesting in the world.

But the thing is... It wasn't...

The memory of him going out with his parents, having fun every minute, and then seeing how they took every single bullet for him haunted his mind.

No matter what was it, their image seemed to pop off in his mind.

Everyone in the hall spoked with little (Y/n), trying to get to know the kid more, but he only exchanged a few to no words with them.

Except for one.

His name was Damian, and he seemed to be somewhat around your age. He stood there, looked at you, introduced himself, and left. Making (Y/n) somewhat a bit curious.

Soon enough the night fell, everybody was doing their own thing that you didn't have an idea of what it was.

With nothing else to do, little (Y/n) opted to go to sleep with difficulty, but when he did every image of that took over his dreams.

He woke up, tears in his dark black eyes and his small frame trembling. Soft, and quiet sobs traveled on the room, as he hugged his legs, and hold his frame to contain himself.

Then the door began to open slowly, revealing a raven hair boy with green emerald eyes.

"Are you okay?" His neutral, and serious tone calming him down a bit. (Y/n) nodded slowly, silencing as much as he could his sobbing, and stared at the wall in front of him.

Damian didn't seemed convinced of his small lie, and so he sighed, and walked to you. He sat beside you, and looked at your state.

"If it makes you feel better, I know what it feels to loose your parents. I lost my mother in crazy attack that she save me, and my father from." He said in a understanding tone. (Y/N) looked at him, feeling sorry for the older.

"I'm sorry to hear that..." His soft, almost unheard voice seemed to take a Damian a bit by surprise that he talked more.

"Don't worry... I am at peace with it... So if you ever need someone, I'll be here." Damian averted his gaze from (Y/n), but he hugged Damian.

This took Damian by surpise, he never got into too much physical contact with a person unless it was during in combat, but he succumbed to it.

Giving, and receiving a warm soft hug.

And as seed beging to grow, so did their relationship, making roots of trust, and comfort to grow between the two litte boys.
