《Narrator's Point of View》

Half a week have passed, and the days were making (Y/n) go crazy with boredom. He never thought of saying such a thing, but school was the only entertaining thing these days.

A huge factor that (Y/n) was feeling unusual like that was because of the fact that Damian wasn't speaking much to him like he used to. He didn't even wait for him on the school's entrance like he used to. (Y/n) tried speaking to him, but all his effort got to waist, he even asked the boys the reason why Damian and so distant lately, but he had no avail either. They told him it was something he had to say to him. That made (Y/n) annoyed most of the times, and it was making him think of stuff that was not like him.

Right he was in his laid in his bed, staring at the white bright ceiling as if it were the most interesting, and entertaining thing in the world. He wanted go do something that wasn't sleeping at the moment, and some thoughts crossed his mind like escape the manor undetected or take away someone's phone, but seeing how Dick always carried his for work, Jason for sexting, and Tim for pretty much living, and breathing it was practically a lost mission. He didn't think of Damian since they weren't on good terms at the moment. Every minute his mind wondered, the remaining option kept  resonating in his head.

"Leave the manor undetected."

(Y/n) jumped of his bed, and change his pajamas for some black long pants, and black hoodie that covered his pink mane. Since he knew now where most of the cameras where, he decided to move cautiously on the ceiling, and jump as high as he could so he could hover his wait out the manor. It was an ability that he trained with Bruce, but never got to use it because it called too much the attention.

When he got out successfully landing half a block away from the manor, he ran towards the city still in his incognito. He had a bandana that covered his mouth, and the hoodie that kept his hair hidden from other eyes attention.

He took around the city, seeing how things were pretty much closed except for the theater, food places, and some other stuff. He noticed that most of the opened places were places that he got to go with company.

When he decided to buy at least some food to distract him, he noticed that he didn't brought his wallet with him. It was a usual thing of his since he didn't really paid for anything since he didn't spend it that much, and Damian always forced him to let him pay.

After a while of walking around the city, he noticed some thugs that were familiar to him. He hid behind a wall, and recognized who they were because of the man with an awful discoloration, Tyson. (Y/n) did his best to approach the gang undetected, and herd their conversation.

After ten minutes of listening, the pinkette got bored, and left to a place that was quiet, and refreshing to think about his life. He spotted a rooftop of an abandoned building, and gazed at the sh

"Pretty night, huh?" A raspy voice was herd from the shadows, until step by step the person took, it revealed more of the silhouette

"Who are you?" (Y/n) spoked witg a serious stern voice since his entire identity was out in the opened.

The person was revealed under the bright moonlight, and (Y/n) found the person have some resemblance with someone familiar. They were clearly a women well built, tall, broad shoulder, and intimidating, she even had some marks on her skin that resembled the same discoloration on her skin as Tyson's.

"The name's Jasper." She let out a nasty grin, and approached the boy. "What's yours, kid?"

"(Y/n)." He spoked in an unfriendly way.

"Not that name, your other name." She said taking a nasty smile. "The name of you gem."

(Y/n) got worried, and took a couple of steps back. He wondered as to how she asked such things, but he decided to keep on with the conversation.

"Rose... Rose Quartz..." Jasper chuckled at his words.

"What is a Rose Quartz basking on the moonlight on a place like this?"

"That's none of your concern." (Y/n) said even if he wanted to ask her strongly about what she meant.

"Drop the act, kid." She laughed and took a seat on the dodge of the ceiling. "I know that everything that's been happening with you is new, and that's because of your gem, and you know it."

"W-What..?" (Y/n) let out unintentionally, showing confusion, and curiosity.

"I know that you want answers, answers to questions you can't exactly form." She dropped the menacing, and intimidating looks, and wore one of understanding. "I can at least guide you towards those answers." Jasper patted next to her. "Take a seat."

(Y/n) walked there with mixed emotions as he thought he was blindly walking towards a trap.

Hours passed, and Jasper told (Y/n) many things about when she was a young Gem.

She was raised by her uncle since her birth, because a couple of minutes later after her being delivered, her father couldn't compose himself since Jasper was almost identical to her mother.

Later on his uncle died when she was 17, and she was forced to live on the streets since she refused many times to be submitted for adoption. A few days later after her uncle's passing, she met a muscular guy who was in his mid twenties. She fell in love with him, and she was later with child with a beutiful baby boy named Tyson. Jasper then was left abandoned by the man she loved, obligating her to act, and rake care of her child.

She tried everything she could to give little Tyson a better life, but then she realized she could never be able to give him that life she wanted if he was with him. And so she was forced to give in Tyson on adoption, and began living in the wilderness.

She then realized in her survival crisis that she could do things no normal human could do. She had a connection with the earth she walked in, she could control it, bend it, manipulate, however you call it. She learned how to properly fight, and then was met with a newfound ability to summon a weapon that could be used on close combat, and ranged combat, they were Chakrums.

"I-I'm so sorry to hear that..." (Y/n) said tearing up after listening to her story. "But what about your mother?"

"In a way, she's with me, just like yours is." She said tracing around the gem in the middle of her chest. It had a color of a mixture of yellow, brown, and orange in her diamond shaped crystal that she possessed. "You remind me so much of your mother, caring, understanding, and gentle."

"You've met her before..?" (Y/n) asked with a tone of confusion, and curiosity.

"Of course, she was the original owner of that gem, your predecessor." She said making (Y/n) more confused.

His mother never talked about anything of that gem except that she needed to suppress the gem's activation.

"B-But mother never spoke a word about the gem, she wanted the gem to dissapear." Explained (Y/n)  leaning the tears that left his eyes without him knowing. Jasper chuckled, and look straight into his eyes.

"I'm not speaking about your adoptive human mother. I'm talking about you real mother, the one who carried that Gem before you." She stood up, and gave (Y/n) her back, preparing for her immediate departure "I'm talking about Rose Quartz."
