A Rose's Friend is a Robin's Vexation

《Narrator's Point of View》

The fusion was headed towards the manor. (Y/n)'s thoughts being suppressed by him, fearing that he, and Tanzanite would become undone.

When they were passing Gotham's City, they spotted a fire on a small building.

"Should we... do something..?" Asked a part of the fusion worried.

"We may have to... or else who knows what can happened." Said the other part getting worried as well. "I know I said not to draw any attention, but screw it."

The fusion flew in the direction of the burning building, and landed in front of it. The people who were there watching the building burn hoping something would happen, quickly landed their eyes at the fusion, making Tanzanite awkward, and shy. (Y/n) comforted Tanzanite, and influenced the fusion to act since he had to dance ballet on bug crowds this was nothing to him.

"Are there any people there?" Asked the fusion to a women close to them.

"There are two kids there, Robin, and Red hood are trying to save them." (Y/n) herd the woman's words, and took a step back. Tanzanite however impulsed to save the kids, and ran to the entrance.

When they entered the building, steam was being created by every step the fusion took in the burning building, now really affecting them much.

They raised a bit one pair of hands, and brought the temperature low, making the flames that the fusion walked by dissapear, and making bits and pieces of ice.

The fusion searched the floors, and manged to hear voices. They belonged to them. Damian, and Jason.

"We can't pass to that room, what are we going to do?" Shouted Damian while holding his breath.

"We could jump on the window, but it may be too late." Said Jason through his mask.

The fusion approached the heroes, and froze all the fire around.

"Stay away." The fusion spoked soflty, they raised the rest of the ceiling that fell off, and froze it to where it belong. Making the kids ran, and each hugged the fusions sides.

"Thanks for saving us Icy angel." Said one of the kids.

"No problem." The fusion hugged each kid with one arm, and with the other patted their hair. They turned towards Damian, and Jason, which thanked the fusion for saving them. "Here." The handed the kids to them, and they fell on their knees feeling a bit unstable.

That's when they almost became undone, their bodies shinning a white light with icy purple outlines, each gems revealing their own color, until the fusion rose stable again, regaining their form, they flew away before it was to late. Both heroes left astonished, and the kids worried.

When they arrived to the manor, they unfused.

"That was awesome!" Shouted Tanzanite.

"Yeah, but a bit exhausting actually." (Y/n) laughed.

"True, to bad that I have to fly all over to the ocean to sleep." Said Tanzanite yawning. Giving an (Y/n).

"We can arrange that..." (Y/n) grinned.

《Some Time Later...》

"Uhmh... Bruce?" (Y/n) knocked on the door of Bruce's office.

"Come in." He said, and (Y/n) walked in. "What do you need?"

"Can a friend of mines stays here for the night..?" (Y/n) played with his hands since he didn't ask anything that much.

"Sure, he can stay as long as he wants." Bruce smiled.

"Thanks!" (Y/n) smiled, and ran out of the office.

"He said yes!" Shouted (Y/n) entering his room, jumping right on the bed.

"Yes! We get to hang out more!" He said joining (Y/n) with a grin.

Both boys began talking about random things. The room being filled with chatter, and laughter like never before. Some could even hear it from the next room.

When Damian arrived to the Batcave he let his suit, accompanied with Jason, and went to take on a bath. Tonight in his patrol happened only two incidents, one was the typical robbery, and the other was saving the kids from the fire. When he finish with his bath, he decided to call it a day, and go to bed, but for some reason something on the back of his head said to check on (Y/n) before heading up to sleep. He went to (Y/n)'s room, and herd laughter, and a conversation. Damian knocked the door, and waited for a response.

"Come on in." (Y/n) spoke between laughs. Damian open the door, and saw another boy with (Y/n). "Damian, how was your night?"

"Pretty good, not much work, and yours seems to be fine, who is this?" Asked Damian in a serious tone, almost sounding as he was a bit sour.

"Oh, uhmm... He's..." (Y/n) though if he could just introduce Tanzanite with the name of his gem, but seeing that he didn't have his real name, caught him off guard.

"I'm (Name), nice to meet ya'." Tanzanite said waving at Damian with smile.

"Damian." He said with a nod.

"Damian's my adoptive brother, and (Name) is a close friend, and he's staying for the night." Grinned (Y/n) happily.

"Well, I'll leave you guys to do your thing then, good night." Damian said, and headed out to his room, feeling a bit unsettled.

After he left, both boys waited a minute, until Tanzanite talked.

"He's somewhat attractive, and a bit serious." Tanzanite said wiggling his eyes, making (Y/n) blush at what he said about Damian.

"That's how he is." (Y/n) shrugged his shoulders.

"You mean attractive?" Tanzanite rose a brow.

"No! I meant serious!" He said blushing more, Tanzanite laughing at his reaction.

"So you like him?" He teased.

"I do not." (Y/n) averted his gaze. "He's my adoptive brother "

"You said it yourself, so he's not a brother by blood." Tanzanite grinned, and got closer to (Y/n). "A little crush on an adoptive brother never hurt nobody."

"So you had a crush on yours?" Asked (Y/n) raising a brow.

"No, I'm speaking for you, dummy." He said making both boys break in laughter. "But yeah, we've been fused, and known about each other for so much that I already now you, I can tell." He looked at (Y/n), and hit gently his shoulder.

"I can say the same." (Y/n) smiled, and did the same.

"It's kind of good, and fresh." Both said at the same time, after chuckling.

(Name), and (Y/n) stood up almost all night talking, and laughing, until they both felled asleep due to the immense tiredness of being fused for too long, and being up talking a lot.
