Bark. Tree Bark to be exact. The bark on a tree means nothing to most people. They walk past it everyday. Unaware of how truly beautiful that specific piece of nature is. Well, to some people, Theodora Moretti (or Theo if she liked you enough.) was one of those people. Living in Forks, Washington majority of her life, Theo was always surrounded by trees. She was always had a fascination with the bark in particular. She loved the way the lines curved and met at different edges of the tree. Always interchanging but firmly routed in the tree even though none where alike. The bark showed the journey the tree had been on since sprouting from a seed.
The fascination had stemmed from Theo's father Calvin who was a scientist. Trees where always a passion of his and was one of the many reasons he chose to settle his family in Forks which is surrounded by Forrest. The Moretti home was lined with pictures her father had taken of different kinds of beautiful bark and branches.
So one day when Theo comes home to find every trace of her mother and father vanished from the house, including them, she and her older brother Alec are left to fend for themselves.
A year later and still no further on Theo has come to terms with the fact that her mother and father where probably never coming back; and most likely dead. Her neighbour and chief of polices daughter Bella moves back into town setting off a chain of events that would change Theo's life forever and will even leave her scarred.

Oh yes that's me starting another fanfic even though I don't upload on any of my other ones. Hello my bbys! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this book. I just wanted to say that twilight has been something that I've loved ever since I was a young girl and so I hope I can do it some justice. I've always loved the atmosphere in the movie and the characters and their backgrounds. This book has been an idea I've had for a while and I'm finally following through with it.
