"SORROW SPARES
NO ONE, AND
SCARS RESPECT
NO PERSON."

Theodora Moretti wanted to be a doctor. She worked hard in school and even did a small internship at the local hospital a year ago, studying under doctor Cullen. She was an extremely caring person and loved looking after people.

As she stared down at the tree in front of her, scattered with pictures of her mother and father, she wondered if they would have been proud of her. Proud of the fact she finished her internship. Proud of the fact Dr Cullen said that she was one of the brightest young minds he had ever worked with. Proud of the fact that she had chosen to peruse a career in science like her father. But she would never know.

Theo and Alec had pretty much accepted that their parents weren't coming home. After looking for them for months and finding no trace at all they slowly gave up. That's when she made her memorial of sorts. There was no body's so no funerals, but Theo needed some sort of closure.

She picked her fathers favourite tree in the forest. One just about 10 minutes walk from the house into the Forrest. He had often took her to this tree to study the bark. She had placed pictures of the couple, candles and flowers along side it.

She stared at the smiling picture and sighed with tears in her eyes. This had become a part of her morning routine recently. She didn't always come by but she found herself coming by more often recently. She picked her back pack up from the dewy grass where it lay, and she walked back home.

Theodora walked down the hallway of Forks high school, towards her history class, as "Time of the seasons" by the zombies blasted through her headphones.
She took her bag from her shoulder as she sat in her usual seat.

She didn't sit at the front of the class, nor the back. The back was for the kids who acted like smart asses. And the front was for the kids who actually where smart asses. She was neither.
She may have been extremely smart but she didn't need to prove herself to everyone by constantly voicing it.
She was also known as the school rebel but that didn't mean she was a total jack ass either. She didn't play by the rules that life sets but she did follow the school rules to the best of her ability.

School was a huge part of her future and she knew she couldn't fuck it up no matter how much she hated it. She took her seat at the side of the class. Somewhat in the middle. Her music still blasted through her headphones as she tried to tune everyone out and listen.

She turned to the side as she noticed Jasper Hale staring at her. He gave her a slight smirk as he focused his eyes back to the front of the class. His foot tapped along to the beat of her music as she found herself frowning. Was it really that loud?
