"I just don't like the way they looked at you...."grumbles Merlin , as we approach Gauis's chambers.
"Oh hush! I'm nothing special...just drop it," I quietly scold.
Merlin's eyes soften at my confession and he moves towards my right ear and says "You are more beautiful than that of any maiden one may lay their eyes upon."
I smile, before I turn to knock on the door of Gauis's chambers, waiting for a cue to enter. Merlin gets bored of waiting, and barges in.
I wait outside for a bit, before following my older brother's lead. Coughing, Merlin scares Gauis. With no other option, Merlin uses his magic to slows down Gauis, before moving a cot beneath the physician.
When time is set to move for Gauis again, you notice Gauis has an accusatory look on his face.
"What did you just do?" Gauis sternly asks, before giving me a quick glance.
"Uhm.." Merlin replies.
"Tell me!"
".. u...I-I have no idea what happened."
"If anyone had seen that.."
"N-no that was-that was.. nothing to do with me... th-that was..."
"I know what it was, I just want to know where you learned how to do it."
"No where.."
"So how is it you know magic?"
"I don't!" At this point I zone out of the conversation.
"Where did you study? Tell me!"
"I've never studied magic or-or been taught."
"Are you lying to me...boy?"
"W-what do you want me to say?"
"The truth!"
"I was born like this.."
"That's impossible."
Gauis hesitates before then saying,"Who are you?"
As Merlin gives Gauis the letter and Gauis acknowledges he forgot today was Wednesday, I notice a small blue-bird on the windowsill.
"Hey there little guy," I say, not realizing my eyes have now begun to have a glowing green ring around my irises.
