The first thing i can tell you
About this book,
Is that the pain doesn't end in this one.
The bitterness. The blame. The self-hatred and self-harm don't end in here. Yet.
There isn't really an uplifting section
Where i tell you it gets better.
i have yet to find its end in my life,
So, i can't write it out on paper or type it onto a screen.
But i can put this out there.
To all of my Lost Causes.
So that you know you are not
The only one.
And maybe no one will read this.
And maybe everyone will.
But you, my Lost Cause,
Are all that matters.
So forge ahead, and prepare for my pain
To resonate like yours.
If only to remind you
That i am a Lost Cause
Just like you.
