Crystals prov:

Ethan takes his kick, he's already took multiple and he actually wasn't as bad as we thought. He scored a few but not many, the ball went steadily across the grass and into the air, it bounced of the post, missing the goal just by a little.

Jack shakes his head and looks down as Colby just smiles clearly enjoying his failure.

It wasn't long before the tryouts were over and people began to clear. We scurried our from where we were and ran back to our lockers before anyone could notice that we were even there.

We all crammed around Lila's departure, trying our best to start a conversation making sure to not rise any suspicion.

"Hey guys." Ethan yells smacking Colby during the process. He grunts and runs the sore, whilst Ethan looks at all of us.

"What's up? You guys seem distant." Ethan questions whilst trying to guess the pin to Lila's locker yet failing miserably. No surprise there right?

No answered him for quite a while until Jack decided to pipe up, "how was tryouts?" He completely dodged Ethan's question and answered it with another.

"Fine I guess, wasn't the best though but who cares?" He doesn't seem to realise what jack did and continues to talk to him. Colby turns his attention to face me as he walks over.

"Hey do you have the Hard-rive?" Whispering he motioned to his bag as I nod my head, grabbing it from a pouch.

"Keep your voice down and don't utter a word, we need to transfer it later." I answer placing the thing that everyone needs most in his hand.

He reconnects to the group as I zone out letting my mind wander into a day dream.

What if this whole plan doesn't work? And then what?

A ring snapped my attention back to reality as I realise it's my phone causing the disruption.

I walk away from the group as the majority of them held confused yet curious faces. Colby looked down and avoided all eye contact as the person on the phone began to speak.

"Do you have it?" He asks, his voice deep so that it was unrecognisable.

"I have it to him just like you asked"

"Remember if it it's not one rule for one then it's one for all, not a word is mentioned or there will be consequences and you know the price." He warns not long before he hangs up leaving me to think in fear. If only everyone knew but it's too bad that they don't.

Colby motions his head towards another class as I begin to follow far behind making sure not to arouse any suspicion.

I enter the class and see him on a desk tossing the most valuable thing anyone could ever imagine right now.

"Could you be careful with that?! If that breaks we're both screwed and you know that." I utter my voice raising by the sudden movements of the object.

I retreat the hard-drive from him deciding that it's best to give it him later rather than sooner. He doesn't bother to oblige and sits there letting his thoughts get the better of him.

This is all so wrong. What are we going to do if this all backfires? I've done all of this stuff to protect myself from him and just like that all my hard work could be destroyed just by one wrong move.

I take in Colby's calm attitude towards the entirety of the situation and yet here I am freaking out whilst he is sat there as cool as a cucumber.

The sound of a default ringtone pervaded through the atmosphere retreated us back from the horror of our own minds. Glancing at the caller ID Colby answers his phone. I could just about make out the hushed voices on the end as they try their best not to blow their cover. Obviously their call was anonymous and there ID was unknown, we both shared confused glances as our new task played with our thoughts.
