Crystals POV:
There is always a problem, no matter what that may be, there is ALWAYS a problem, it could be minor or it could be major. Who knows? The problem between Noah and Ryder is a major problem, they have been feuding for over a week now, I still have no idea as to why, all I know is that it's a girl.
"Earth to Crystal." Hunter says as his eyes search mine in hope to find any emotion, however I keep my face straight and show case nothing.
"Did you say something?" I ask as he gives me a disapproving look, he stands up and turns his full attention to me.
"Yes I said something. Maybe if you wasn't day dreaming all the time you'd realise." He snaps as he walks out of the empty class, leaving me starting at his retrieving figure. What's his problem?
I think of all the possible things that could be bothering him recently and I return with nothing. Deciding that I wasn't going to get answers from my own mind I grab my stuff and head out hoping to catch him somewhere in the halls.
A pair of friendly eyes meet mine as I realise that the belong to Noah's. He walks towards me, confidence in his stride as he stops by my locker.
"Hey stranger." I beam as he returns my sudden happiness with a smile of his own. I recognise that he doesn't smile much and when he does it's breath taking.
"Where have you been? I've been wanting to talk to you for the past two days yet you always seem to be with him." His voice was low as he said his final words but it was loud enough for me to hear. I didn't know what to say so I decided to say nothing at all. He takes that as his queue to continue talking about the most random things he could possibly muster yet my mind was else where. I couldn't stop thinking about Ryder, I don't why but the image of him getting frustrated earlier couldn't leave my mind, not that I am complaining.
Things have been different recently, Noah and Ryder weren't talking, Justin and Katie seemed to have left my life completely after the whole Harvey situation, and me? Well I've been the same.
I'm snapped out of my senses by a very confused looking Noah who has his head cocked to the side trying to read my expression, but him too was left with nothing but a blank face. I don't what it is with me today but I didn't feel like talking about my emotions, probably because I don't know what they are yet.
I open my locker and retrieve my physic books as Noah seems to be in his own world, he does t seem all to bothered about the Ryder situation but we can't all be sure.
"...that's when it all ended." Noah finishes, turning to face me, I try to remember what he was talking about but the last thing I can recall was him talking about one of his exes. I hate it when he waffles cause my mind automatically switches off and it then leaves me in a position where I either disagree or agree with what he's a saying without having a clue what he's talking about. It's 50/50 I suppose.
I see Ryder from afar talking to his new latest friend Jordan, they've been friends for a while now but never really seemed close, but since Noah is out of the picture for a while I guess Jordan is his new replacement. He's a nice guy just never spoken to him much, he's not a quite person either.
The bell rings, I shove my books into my bag and start walking to class with Noah by my side. He doesn't say a thing the entire walk there and the only word he does say is bye as I open the door to my physics class. The room is half full as I take a sit in the middle trying to avoid anyone who will possibly make eye contact. Can I be bothered with people today? No, absolutely not.
It doesn't take long before Ryder walks in with Jordan by his side, I forgot they were both in this class. Purposely Ryder and his new found best friend sits behind me as I can practically feel Ryder's intense stare burning into the back of my head. I don't dare turn around at all during the whole hour, his behaviour goes unnoticed as he continuously tries to get my attention. What's his deal? One minute he's all nice and charming, then he's all snappy and irritated and now he's up for a punch in the face from I herself because he won't stop pestering me.
I continue to act like he doesn't exist when the teacher dismisses the lesson and I almost run out of the room trying my best to not interact with the idiot. Thankfully the gods are on my side today and Ryder decides not to go after me. However that's short lived when I sense a presence walking next to me. I turn my head to notice that it's Jordan, what could he want?
"What?" I ask not beating around the bush, just getting straight to the point because quite frankly I'd prefer if he's just go away but then again since when does anyone acknowledge what i would prefer?
"Touché." He replies sarcasm dripping from his tongue, unluckily he doesn't stop there.
"So I know that Ryder and you are going through a little rough patch. I know he snapped at you earlier but he didn't mean to. A lot has been going on lately with his family and he's taking his anger out on the person within sight and it was too bad that it had to be you." He says as he looks at me searching for an answer. This time I give him one.
"Maybe he should stop taking his anger out on those who actually care for him, it's no wonder he's losing Noah, it won't be long until he loses me too. I'm done with his childish games, he's needs to be mature and get a grip." I remark walking ahead of him and leaving him to his own thoughts. This isn't the first time Ryder has done this and it certainly won't be his last.
