9. Kasumi Nakasu
So, the reason I don't like Kasukasu is basically the fact that her only personality seems to be sabotaging her friends. I know this is done solely for comedic purposes, but I just don't enjoy it all that much. I feel like this would be more interesting if the Nijigasaki girls got an anime, but I'm not sure that'd happen any time soon. Sorry, Kasukasu.

8. Shizuku Osaka
Yeah, Shizuku's pretty boring in my opinion. I feel like SchoolFes tried to develop her in Lean on Us, Shizuku!, but that story never really did it for me. I mean, I feel like we already knew that she was the independent, polite girl with a lot of interests. I feel like after all of the Nijigasaki related things I've seen on Instagram, Amino, Tumblr, Twitter, etc., I've never seen anyone with her as their best girl.

7. Ayumu Uehara
One thing I should tell you before I rat on Ayumu is the fact that I've never liked protagonists of anything. I've always been the one weirdo in the fandom who gets attached to the one side character with one minute of screen time. That being said, yeah, it looks like Ayumu is the protagonist here (and yes, I know that the Nijigasaki girls are not one group.) Something that made me also not care for her is how she behaved in the comic series with her, Ai, and Rina (I forgot what it was called...) If you've seen it, you know what I'm referring to.

6. Setsuna Yuki
I earlier stated that I don't like the protagonists in anything, but I've also never been the type to like the overrated characters. I feel like Setsuna is the fan-favorite (along with Karin) but I don't see what makes people like her so much. Also, this would probably get me hated on for saying, but I don't like Chase. I've heard that people like it because it sounds like an anime opening, but I feel like that could be a reason to dislike it as well. You can hear that type of song anywhere. Overall, Setsuna just seems a bit cliche to me and I'd like to see her get some development.

5. Kanata Konoe
This is the point in my personal ranking where things change from "this character is flawed because..." to "I like this character because..." I didn't like Kanata at first because her sleepy voice drove me absolutely insane. I reconsidered after I found out more about her motivations and her solo. Her solo, 眠れる森に行きたいな (Nemureru Mori ni Ikitai na,) is amazing. Also, I love how much she cares about her sister. I love how her love for her sister drives her to do what she does.

4. Karin Asaka
Okay, yeah, Karin's overrated. She probably doesn't deserve as much love as she gets, and I certainly don't want to contribute to that. I'm pretty sure that Karin is 17, which means she's still a child, but her goal is to look as adult-like and mature as possible. I'm not even a huge fan of Starlight, but let me say, I love her speaking voice. I guess an unknown force is pulling me toward Karin, which I don't know what it is.

3. Rina Tennoji
Rina used to be my favorite Nijigasaki girl.
Just let that sink in.
Okay, we're done with that. For some reason, in every single group, my favorite girl started off with being the shy girl, but by the end, changed to someone else. In μ's, it was Hanayo until I started liking Nozomi, and in Aqours, it was Ruby until I started liking Kanan. I guess Rina falls into the "shy girl" category here. I like Rina's voice, and though I could do without the Rina-chan board gimmick, it doesn't bother me much. In the dramas, she doesn't speak much, but when she does, she says something important. She's a bean that needs to be protected.

2. Ai Miyashita
Ai 愛 Ai.
(That's an overused pun, I'm sorry.)
Ai is amazing. I love how much energy she has, I love her unique voice, I love her solo song, and I love her puns. Ai is the comic relief (not Kasukasu) that this group of girls needs. I don't dislike Ai in any way, but because of Emma's existence, she's not exactly "waifu material" or number one in this list.

I could just copy and paste the last chapter here, but I won't. Chances are, you just read it, so you don't need an explanation here.

I hope I didn't hurt anyone's best girl too bad! I'm sorry if I did, because I know if someone said some of these things about Emma, I'd throw my Snow Halation Nozomi nesoberi.

But really, none of that should matter, because in the end, these are 2D anime girls we're talking about!
