You sighed as you walked into the GCPD for another day of work. You liked your job, but you didn't like the people. Certain cops just got on your nerves, especially the ones who tried to flirt with you constantly. You didn't think of yourself as exceptionally beautiful but you guess Gotham cops did.

As you were walking to the Annex, Officer James stopped you. You sighed loudly as he stops you. He's tried multiple times to get you on a date, to which you said no all those times.

"Hey, beautiful. How's it goin'."

"It's going well, if you excuse me though I have to get to work." You moved your hand to grab the door nob but he pinned you against the wall.

"I just want to talk to ya for a bit." You can tell he tried to sweet talk you. Then you heard footsteps coming your way.

"Miss (Y/N)" the voice stated. You knew that voice immediately.

"Mister N-nygma" you stuttered as you blushed. You had the largest crush on Edward Nygma but you didn't know if he felt the same. The officer turned around and sneered at Ed.

"What do you want pencil neck?" he huffed condescendingly.

"I came to get some files from Miss (Y/N), so if you'll excuse me," he said sternly. He then walked up to you and grabbed your hand.

"We need to get to work." he said as he dragged you into the Annex and closed the door in the officer's face.

"Thanks, Eddie. He's been on my case for the past few days; he wants to go out with me but I find him so, unappealing" you say putting emphasis on unappealing.

"You're welcome, Miss (Y/N); I saw how uncomfortable you were and I had to do something." he says blushing.

"Well, you said you needed files?" you asked.

"Well not exactly, I came for something else." he said, as his faced turned a deeper shade of red.

"What is it Ed?" you asked confused.

"I cannot be bought, but I can be stolen with one glance. I'm worthless to one but priceless to two." he said awaiting your answer. You thought for a second, then it hit you.

"L-love" you stammered as you blushed furiously. You had no words. He loved you!? Suddenly it got way to hot in the Annex. You felt like you were going to faint.

"Yes Miss (Y/N), I'm deeply in love with you. Your intellect almost matches mine, your personality is amazing and your beauty is breathtaking." he sighs as he leans closer. He cups your face with his hand.

"May I?" he breathes, onto your lips.

"You may." you sigh in response, and he closes the gap. You never thought Ed would be such a good kisser but this kiss was slow and passionate. He grips your waist and you wrap your arms around his neck. Then you both pull back from the kiss. You look up at him and smile.

"I want to take you on a date Miss (Y/N), at 7 p.m.; my home." he states, confidence coursing through him.

"Of course", you giggle.

"What's funny?"

"I just remembered that Officer James called you pencil neck" you spit out, laughingly you put your hand on his shoulder. He chuckles along with you for a bit. Then Ed looks at his watch.

"Oh dear, it seems I have to get back. Well my dear Miss (Y/N), I will see you at my place, 7 p.m. sharp." he says smiling as he kisses your forehead.

"Yes Ed, 7 p.m. sharp." you smile at him as he leaves the Annex. You sighed happily as you realize you finally have a date with Edward Nygma and you couldn't wait till 7 o'clock.
